Yes I got it on the 8th but it was issued on Feb 2nd so coupdnt pick up earlier because there was a Kashmir day holiday. I will be in CA first week of March! Having my mehndi here next week and then going there to get a small nikkah done. The bigger celebration will be later.

Yes, same here. I tried tracking it as well, but I believe it takes two working days to print the visa and then the CEAC status may read, "Printed." Once it's done they will send it to the courier, AEG, and that will also take a couple working days. Thereafter, maybe we will be able to track it on US travel docs, but another way we can confirm is to call AEG on Monday. All of this will take 10 working days, so we will definitely receive it before next friday, the 11th. Also, dont quit your job until you have it in hand.

That's a good sign! Does the IV say nonimmigrant now? That's another sign it's gonna get issued soon. My status also updated to today's date in AP.

Yes, there were a lot of updates this month in Jan and I think my status went from saying immigrant to nonimmigrant on a certain date. Maybe when it went from AP to READY to back to AP. Maybe that means it's close! lol

We filed K1 the 3rd week of Sept. CO kept passport and said everything looked fine and that it would take 2-3 weeks. He did not give us any slip or anything. It is currently in AP and it says nonimmigrant when I put in the case #. When I use the other number, it also says AP, but before it went to READY, it said, "No status."

Our status on CEAC was updated a couple times and after the interview on DEC 22nd, it changed to AP, updated a few times in between, then went to Ready for one day on Jan 15th. The next working day was Jan 19th, so then the case creation date changed to Jan 19th and then it changed back to AP. That suggests that one security checking is done and another one has begun. It depends on how many security checks were requested from the embassy to the State Dept.

What date was your interview and what month did you send the K1 docs in?

Didn't your fiance already pay the fees at the Islamabad Embassy? You don't need to pay it again, online. Congrats on the visa!

In this K1 case, your fiance needs to fill out I-134 and her father needs to fill out I-864 as a household Joint sponsor along with supporting evidence. You need to bring these signed original documents to the interview or send it with packet 3 before the interview. It depends on the case.

The household member agrees to support the immigrant by signing a supplemental Form I-864A. Just did my medical here. Yes bring along any vaccination records you have, if you do not have any records do not worry about that.

They will do a chest xray, some blood tests, and they will give you vaccinations as required.

Bring those reports, although they may not care to see them at all.

I applied for a K1 visa and it's been over 2 weeks since the ISL embassy received my case and haven't emailed me packet 3 yet. I'm not sure what's going on there, but I am going to get my senator involved since they should have at least sent an email to either me or my fiance. I'm not sure what documents they'll need for packet 3. Anyone know?

The NVC will not answer the phone and will always stay busy. The best time to call is right after they open and 30 minutes before they close. They always answer the phone at that time. Good luck!

I'm applying for a K1 fiance visa and for a vaccine waiver. I have to go for the medical next week. What do I tell the doctor? Are they gonna deny us in the K1 fiance interview? And then I apply for the i601 waiver? How long did it take for all of you to get the visa after the first interview? I heard they do a second interview to see if your beliefs are sincere.
