Not yet, no name changes and it was originally scheduled for 730 a.m. I called the 800 number and they informed me that all rescheduled ceremonies will be held at the USCIS offices going forward same place where interview took place.

SA ceremony was also scheduled at uscis office as well.

Thanks for the info.... yeah I think without name change oath can be done by the administrators at the Uscis office... the people who needs a name change would be done at a court before a judge... so I guess I'll have to wait longer

So far two friend of mine received letter and both had different locations, It suppose to be each ceremony will hold 9 people and I believe they are doing 2 or 3 ceremonies per day and 3 times a week.

This is what i heard from friend of mine who attended the ceremony in SA couple weeks ago.

You all should be receiving the email soon.

  5. On your ead/gc do u have ur name hanged to married name? If not Ssn won't change the name even u have marriage cert. If it has ur new married name u can go and change it no problem.

Most driver license require ead/gc so u can go get ur license renew now but with an expire date of the ead(one year) when u get the green card it should be two year from date issue and they will renew it with that green card expire date

  6. Hi guys so I just got the wife green card yesterday and the last name it does not have the hyphen first middle maiden married..... But on ead combo it did have the hyphen first middle maiden-married so I had read this is very common but my question is had anyone successfully gotten the green card with the hyphen.... Will his affect new Ssn card and driver license to add the hyphen (coz the current Ssn does have hyphen but with the dhs work author statement on it)

    Any input will be helpgul

  7. I had my Aos from K1 interview on May 26th and my status has been stuck on interview as well. No update since. However the officer informed us that she was approving our case.

I hope u hear something soon

We had our interview last Thursday (May 19th), nothing changed in the system through the weekend but to our greatest surprise I received my I-485 and I-130 approval notices in the mail on Monday May 23rd. Then my status changed online between Tuesday to Thursday that my "Card was mailed," "card was picked up by USPS" and by yesterday "Card was delivered!" Card was in hand exactly a week and a day after our interview. So do not worry your approvals and card are on their way to you. Congratulations!

    Cool thanks for the info

  8. So I went thru this with my wife she is Hong Kong resident but worked in Shanghai and went college in Guangzhou. It's trouble some coz u have to be in person and get the police record cert and u have to go one the police station to apply then go get it translated. We didn't have time to do that coz traveling to both city and do it. We had used http://www.visainchina.com/ a guy name magic and it took him about a month to get the police record mailed to her in HK. If u can get it urself which will cost less but for us plane tickets and time just was not worth it. At least u can contact magic and have an option
