Hi all my husband was approved for cr1/ir1 visa last Tuesday and got his passport back on Friday so now he is back with me so happy! If u have any questions I'm happy to help. It is a lonngggg wait for the interview. We found out in May a whole 2 months after our case was complete with NVC that our interview would be End of July >_<

My husband was approved today at Nairobi embassy. They asked for tax transcripts and proof of relationship docs. Then asked him about 8 questions.

'Have u visited wife's family'

'How many times did u visit USA and for how long'

'How did u and ur wife meet'

'How long have u been together'

'When did ur wife move back to states'

'What does she do'

Then they asked a couple of questions about the co-sponsor.

Took about 4 hours from start to finish.

Good Luck tomorrow lifting us all up in prayer! My husbands interview is also tomorrow in Nairobi Kenya. It's crazy how you prepare and organize everything and then last minute nerves set in and you feel in despair. The finish line is in sight. May God have mercy on our cases ❤️

I am awaiting an interview date. Case was completed March 4th. I wish there was someone else going through the embassy with similar timeframe, I feel all alone

This may sound so silly, but is there anything we mere humans can do to speed up the interview scheduling process? My husband's case was completed 6 weeks ago for cr1 visa and we still don't have an interview date. The thing that's concerning me is every other case i've heard at going through my embassy (Nairobi) has had interview scheduled 2-3 weeks after their case complete. Any advice for this weary soul?

am currently awaiting my interview in Nairobi. my case was completed on March 4th. I completed the ds261 back in December, then sent of my aos and iv docs together. all the best! where are u in the process? cc yet?

praying nairobi schedules this week! anyone know anything? from the spreadsheet it seems most of the kenya filers have interview scheduled within 2 weeks and for me its already been a month...anyhoo...it could always be worse (my mantra) praying for all of us to get through this process with peace and patience in our hearts.

quick question re:vaccinations.

my husband has health insurance in uganda, so he can get his vaccines pretty much free here, rather than paying in Nairobi. Which vaccines are required? i've been told that there are 4 specifically that they ensure adults have pre interview. can anyone shed some light?

also i had case complete march 4th. any ideas how long the wait for interview date will be? im cr1 visa, so nvc has told me they will schedule me, just curious about how long the wait might be. praying it will be before june.

I checked 2 hours later... I got 3 N/A!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 OMG!!!!!! I can not scream louder than ever

The facebook groups 'visa journey' 'i130 immigration group' have members who post their case complete updates. I also saw a cc with scan date 27th and 29th of Jan. Praying my 1st Feb scandate will have cc asap.

hi guys, im a bit confused. does nvc book your appointment for the interview or do u book urself through the consulate. i've heard from some who have been prompted by embassy after case complete to book an interview, but i've also heard from some that they are waiting for nvc to schedule their interview.

Anyone have any predicitons about what scan dates will be getting case completes in the next couple weeks? eagerly anticipating... i can't bear another month listening to nvc call waiting music. gah that little song will be the death of me lol
