  1. Hi, Just had my Interview today here in U.S Consulate Seoul, Korea and its APPROVED!!!!!!

Everything went really fast and the interview itself was kind of short and the questions was like :

    1. How did I met my Fiancé ?

    2. When did i first met my Fiancé?

    3. How many times I've been to the U.S?

    4. Any arrests during my stay in the US?

    5. What do I do here in Korea?

The Consul was so nice too and asked me if Im more comfortable talking in English or Korean. I told him "of course English" cause I am from the Philippines  . Only 6 people today at the embassy and I finished really early too.

    Goodluck to Everyone!!!

  2. Still no word on NOA2 :( I'll probably get a RFE since it is taking so "long" (compared to others at CSC hahaha)

but to my knowledge we filled everything out correctly, added proof that we have met in the past 2 years and thought we have a pretty easy case without previous marriages, no criminal records, etc...

    Hoping I get something today!!!!

Same situation here. my noa1 was October 13. Still waiting for noa2. There are days that I feel depressed even though I'm trying to keep my hopes up. Im still positive but sometimes it's just frustrating being in this waiting game. I added 4 years worth of evidences. I believe that's more than enough.

  3. I am at the same page with you. Our NOA1 was 10/20. It gets me frustrated knowing that others who filed later are already approved.

Are you at California Service Center?

Yes. The petition was directed to California service center. It's just frustrating. I can't plan ahead. And winter is coming here in Korea. It's hard to go out in the near future to arrange papers. I was expecting I can wrap up everything before the winter comes.

  4. I will be applying here in Korea cause I live here now. I was born in Saudi Arabia and also I lived in Malaysia and Hongkong. I understand that I have to get all of the police certificates on each country that I have resided since the age 16, my concern is, I heard that there's two type of police clearances here in Korea. I would just like to know T what should I get and where to have it translated in Seoul cause I heard that I needed to get it translated. Thank you.

Where are you applying the Visa in Manila or Korea?

  5. I am new to this forum and I swear I can't really navigate this site it's still kinda new to me and I'm slowly getting used to it. For now I'll just post a question and I hope someone can help me with this.

I am a Filipino, living here in Korea. Almost 4 yrs. (work and study)

We applied for my k1 visa last October and got our NOA1 last 10.13

I'm still waiting for the second NOA but I would like to know what doccuments should I bring. It's really confusing cause the Korean website is so dated and j would like to hear some new inputs here.

About the police clearance, I heard there are two types of it. I would like to know what version should I get and I heard also that I have to get it translated. If so, where should I have it translated in Seoul?

And also I don't have vaccine records. What should I do now? And when should o shyest getting all of these papers?

Thank you so much. I hope someone can help me with my looooooooobg question. ?????
