I have collected all the supporting documentation for IR-5 visa - petitioning for a parent of a U.S. citizen. I do not have Marriage, or Divorce papers, nor the ability to obtain them. My parents are divorced. Does anyone know if I need to obtain divorce papers, even though I am inviting a parent? Any help would great be appreciated!
