  1. You have a tendency to offend those you view as weak....I just got sick of lurking on the sidelines watchin' you.

So use the ignore user feature, it's not worth the negative energy/vibes....I use it even though I don't post on forums often. ;)

This thread title is just another way of seeking attention in a similar way to a 'leaving' thread!

    As they say *F.T.S*..........

  2. Oops tried to put photo of me up on the avatar so you could getan idea what I look like. Too many pixies it seems. It's a few years old now, but it was the first one Andrew saw of me. Oh and I got red hair now.

Stella!!! is that really you? omg you are gorg!! I love your hair!!

I havent been around lately things have been hectic, my appointment is on the 18th so I'm freakin out...

Hope the US is treatin ya well...

In regards to stopping work after married what is with that? I haven't heard that before....

  3. My Mum :( (So she could meet my guy - :( ) (well she wasn't famous so I should add one more )

1.Jim Morrison ( Dead - HE was a real rock star unlike the harpies they pump out today)

2.Kevin Mitnick (I want to hear all the hacking story's he isn't allowed to publish in his books)

3.Fr. Malachi Martin ( He is dead as well however I want to hear all the creepy exorcist storys)

    4. Kate Moss (she was my idol when I was a fashion junkie)

  4. Isabel I totally know what you are saying its been *HELL* the last couple of weeks especially for me...My guy came over to Australia for 10 days and only went home last wednesday so I miss him so much...He told me on hte phone its depressing to keep dwelling and talking about how much we miss each other...but I can't help it...so I totally know how you feel...The only thing that does help me cope: Phonecalls, emails, stupid dvd's and cigs. I had given up smoking but right now its hell without one. Oh yeah and lots of cappucinno's...

  5. age in some cases, really is just a number, and all in you mind...

especially when you get so old you can't remember that number!!!

Ive stopped counting but my bod does remind me now and then lol

It is just a number though.....most have a hard time believing my age of 46, not only looks but more by the way I act and dress. Hence why in many cases a man my age or older cant keep up with me lol and I so dont want to be slowed down just yet....plenty of time for that when Im 6 feet under or burned to a crisp.

I remember reading your post about the ages of your kids, when I seen your pic no WAY could I believe you were old enough to have kids that age! omg!

:) JC you here...the two of us maybe should take a room  ...a chat room that is ;)

I was going to say something after Aussie`s post to when something here interferred...it`s 10:30 am here and I should move away from the computer pronto...so i`ll just say that what Lorelle said about 6 feet under and ``slow down`` I just thought that would definately make us slow down quite a bit

    LOL I know!!! :D

My husband (who hates durian) says he once encountered a smell that's exactly like durian. He was on the tarmac at a small airport and smelled, simultaneously, raw sewage and deisel exhaust. He really hates that fruit and can detect the smell from much much farther away than I can.

It also almost made him throw up the first time he smelled it. I was once giving him some different flavored mooncakes and one of them happened to be durian... There was much gagging and choking

my friend just sent me some Duran candies.. yummm..

I know the things I am going to miss most as I have already spent several months in the US.

CHEESE - I find the US cheese very mild and I like extra mature chedder like Seriously Strong

BREAD - Can't stand the sweetness in most US brands - although Walmart sell fresh hot french bread which is delicious but doesn't have much body

ENGLISH FISH & CHIPS - so I am making up for it by having em once a week til I leave

BRANSTON PICKLE - WEETABIX - real BUTTER - KIDNEY BEANS - ENGLISH STRAWBERRIES

you can get Branston pickle and weetabix here.

you can get real butter. you can also get kidney beans.

My friend tried to take timtams into the country they took them off her....when I was in the US I craved Kraft Cheese spread....you can order it and other things from this online aussie store but its a rip off...

I want to take CoffeX Coffee with me when I go....I couldn't find a coffee I actually really liked while I was over there...but the sunmart coffee I like, but its a ###### going to the quicky mart everyday just to get it.

    :luv:

  8. the question remains if cutting off electricity meets such definition above

Demolishing the basic infrastructure of the region I think does qualify as 'collective' punishment. The lack of power affects not only individuals and families, but hospitals and just as importantly basic sanitation.

i just find it amazing that what is posted here is consistently anti-israeli. israel is being bombed but for some reason that's not newsworthy.

Rockets are fired on Israel for the sole purpose of terror. It would be celebrated as a holiday in Palestine if one of these rockets would hit a bus full of Israeli children.

    So f**ked up.

  9. Thanks to everyone for the reply's....The anniv. is tomorrow (14th in melb) so atm I dread it...

It still seems like it was yesterday.....

being seperated from my fiance is the worst right now so I'm kinda a combo of sad and peeved at the waiting...I'm tempted to try and fly out next week for a week or so after I hear when my appointment will be...but paranoid I will be denied entry so we will have to see... :(

Right now I have never felt more alone.

    hugs to all

If you decide to go see your fiance that would be good for you to feel better(I am talking like I`ve just discovered the water is wet here  ....I`d say you won`t have problems at the entry if your return ticket will be so soon after the departure...just be ready to show them at the POE proof of ties with Australia and IF they ask (only if they ask) tell them you wouldn`t screw(ok,I just put it in my little colorful way :P ...you might phrase it better) your K1 application now and overstay on a tourist visa at this point.

And...sorry to hear you feel alone...I know something about that feeling....hugs

    Ty sweety!!!!!1 hugs! (L)(F)(L)

I'm working out what to take now to show strong ties so I won't have any drama's....:)

    hugs hun!

JC i did it as long as i can remember... my letters to God, that is. My gradeschool teacher taught us that if there was a special prayer that we held deeply in our hearts, anything that we wanted god to know (not that he doesnt already)secrets, pain, something bothering us, a special prayer, just about anything that you can think of, you write a letter to god. After you write your letter, you burn it, the smoke would come up and the winds carry the ashes in the sky. so in a way it will reach god in heaven. thats the way i remember her explaining it. it helps... i guess you really dont have to burn them but as a kid i was like, God can read my letters... talk about AIR MAIL.... :) i still do it every now and then, so far i have managed not to burn anything else except my letters to god and mom. :)

I love that! I'm gonna try it now.....thanks! its a great idea!!!!!!

    hugs hun!
