Thanks both for your advice, I shall contact a local surgeon and see if they can complete the required form without having to go through the whole examination.

I'm currently compiling all the required documents for AoS filing, however I did not receive a I-693 after my medical examination in the UK (Kightsbridge Doctors). I was however given a US Department of State Vaccination Documentation Worksheet (1405-0113 for use with DS-2503), will I require to visit a doctor in the US in order for them to complete an I-693 form? If so, has anybody got any experience of doing this ideally in the Austin, Texas area?

Did you specify your date of travel on form IV15 (the form you send back from packet 3)? My understanding is that they will schedule interviews according to date of travel where possible.

I was aware that any denial is at the discretion of the office at the PoE but I'm pleased to hear if it is the case it doesn't lead to an automatic denial of the visa at the embassy.

I understand that there is a likelihood of being denied entry under the WVP whilst a K1 petition is being processed, if this is the case will the K1 petition be automatically denied at interview and a waiver required?

I am planning on visiting my fiancee for two weeks in September, traveling from the United Kingdom, and we are currently awaiting our NOA2. Unfortunately I would not be able to supply evidence of strong ties to the United Kingdom (I am self employed and currently living with my parents), as such I am obviously concerned that such a denial may have an impact on our case.

I checked the information you pointed me to and my understanding is that under the DCF scheme we would have to get married in the UK, we would prefer to get married in the US as she has more family and friends that would want to attend the marriage.

She (petitioner) is currently in the UK on a 6 month visa, due to expire at the end of July. As such she is currently completing the I-129F petition with the UK address as her present address.

Just a quick question to put my mind at ease.

Am I correct in thinking there is no problem with my fiancée (petitioner) submitting the I-129F petition and relevant documents from a UK address (this would be the address used in Part A: Information about you)? We are both currently living together in the UK.

I believe there shouldn't be a problem with doing this as it states in the I-129F instructions that you should "mail your petition to USCIS Service Center listed above that has jurisdiction over the place you last lived in the United States" when "If you live outside the United States". I realise that it seems pretty obvious that you can submit the petition from an address outside the US, just wanted to know if anybody had successfully done this.

Also, is it fairly simple to make a change to this address during the process of the application as my fiancée will be returning to the US before the process is completed?

I attempted a search of previous posts but couldn't find anything applicable.

Question 10 of the I-129F form asks "My citezenship was aquired through (check one)?" with the following possible answers:

- Birth in the U.S.

- Naturalization

...

There is a field for "Give number of certificate, date and place it was issued", I am unsure as to whether this applies to both Birth in the U.S. (presumably it refers to your birth certificate in this case), naturalization or both. I read a USENET posting indicating that it only applied to naturalization, can anybody confirm that this is the case?
