  1. Your right, i need to update my timeline. Will try to do that this weekend. I applied for citizenship on September 21 (sent the packet on the 19th of sept). They kind of took long before calling me for fingerprints but i finally got one the 10th of december (walk-in). Actual date was on Dec 18th. And interview is on the 25th Jan.

I asked them why my biometrics took so long and they said they were waiting for the police report to get back etc etc.

  2. Hey,

  4. hey all,

I hope you're all doing good. I have a little question, does anyone know a shipping company i can ship things with from nigeria to usa? prefereably inexpensive. I lost my mom 2 weeks ago, just got back from the funeral. I want to bring over some of her personal belongings (things i can remember her with - i am her only child). I packed the things back home before leaving for the states, but right now im looking into shipping companies that i can use to ship the things over, and pay on arrival.

any help / advice will be really appreciated.

    thanks and stay blessed.

If not in daytona beach, then miami or orando (i don't mind driving all the way). Please ill appreciate if ya'l can forward me stores/addresses/ phone numbers. Ive searched all over, phone books/ internet, etc but have found nothing.

  12. Hey all,

I sent my aos package already, but went to get get an update of my medical report, just in preparation for an RFE. I was told i had to do another test, xray, vaccinations (MMR and Vericella), etc.

Please did you all who got an update on the vacination forms you brought from you country have to do all these? i thought all they had to do is just transfer the information form the vaccination sheet i brought from my country to the one here.

thanks and ill appreciate all replies.

  14. I just cant believe it! Just like that. Had my interview in Lagos, Nigeria today. And i tell you what, it was the easiest interview i ever attended. The consular made me so relaxed, i felt like i was talking to a friend. Didnt even last 7mins, geez. And all these months ive been so sick, nervous, anxious, just racking my brains about whatever will happen at the interview. Thanks for all the advice. Tayo, thank you so much. Valentine, i really appreciate the calls and support, thank you too. Thank all VJ members. Whao, i cant believe this is all over, just like that. Getting my visa in 3days.

I miss my fiance like mad and just cant wait to be in his arms again.

For all those whose interviews will be coming soon, i'll pass on the same advice i got from others.

BE CONFIDENT, FRIENDLY, HAVE ALL YOUR DOCUMENTS TOGETHER, MAKE SURE YOUR CASE IS THE BOMB.

(when i mean the bomb, make sure there is love all over your emails, chats, letters, pictures, etc. Real love can't be hidden. )

Wish ya'll all the best (and will post my whole experience asap.. just so excited now).
