    Hey HanhChi,

how soon after arrival did your parents received their green cards in the mail? Maybe someone else also can answer that. My mother has been here for two weeks and got her social security card in the mail, but no green card yet. I paid the fee for it on July 2.

Like 60 days. It said you will get it around 90 days upon arrival. You should be able to track it. When you paid they should have gave you a case number. Also you can go on my.USCIS.gov and create an account in their name and verify their id and update the address if you need to. SS comes faster.

If you are talking about the medical before the interview and vaccinations before moving to the US my wife's vaccinations were about $80, daughter around $120-160.  The medical was $275 for wife and $240 for daughter.  Everything done in HCMC.  The shots are because some vaccinations take two doses so one before interview and the second dose 30 days later.  The second dose can be in VN or in US but much cheaper if they can do the second dose in VN.

    Thank you

I sent you a message. It’s been 3 weeks since my mom received her visa.

Same error you are getting. I would contact USCIS. When I tried to put my wife parent who haven’t done the interview yet. It said if problem continues after 5 days to contact them.

Yes! I double checked from the email and on the visa.

It might also be your internet blocking it somehow. I tried my wife parent number and it didn’t give me that error you are getting. It just say the number is not in the system.

I tried as well. It didn’t work. My case was that we are waiting for the visa to arrive after the interview

They got their visa already. I don’t know if you need to wait for the visa for it to work. Since they might need time to put it into the system.

If you want you can private message me those number I could try it. Other than that I’m not sure. It worked for me.

I tried all different browsers but none of them worked 😭

You got the correct A number? I got mine at the bottom of the interview appointment letter. I didn’t put the a in front just the number.

Immigrant Fee. It asks for DOS number and A#. My mom received her visa and she’s flying here today. USCIS recommends pay the immigrant fee before she arrives. I try every day, but still can’t pay for it.

How much is it? I have done paperwork for a friend parent and only fees are Affidavit of Support Fee and IV fee to complete DS260 form. Other fees include medical exam and vaccination shots but that is all. They already got their visa and ready to got to the US soon. They didn't tell me of any other fee. I'm also doing paperwork for my wife parent and they are going to an interview on June 8. Did your mom need a covid test or anything before she could buy a ticket to fly? Just wondering.

    Help Help Help!

I tried to pay the immigrant fee for my mom online. I entered the A- number and DOS number as shown in her visa, but it keeps saying “An Unexpected Error Occur”

Is there anyone have this issue?

Which fee are you referring to? You only need the case number and Invoice ID.

My mom's documents were approved last August.  I just received an email today with an appointment for April 16! Hope everyone will hear back soon!

August of 2020? What was your mom priority date?

Hm, this doesn’t sound right to me, I think you are only supposed to get these when “dates for filing” is current in the visa bulletin. Can you confirm that the approval notice is for F4 sibling visa? What is the priority date on there?

Yea I was thinking I would have to wait 10 or more yrs before hearing anything from NVC. I just file I30 about 8 or so months ago. Just a few days ago I got an email from USCIS said case approved and few days later follow by NVC email with case number and invoice number. I130 submitted Nov 2019 for Sister/brother of US citizen in their 30-40s.

  13. So I apply I130 for my brother and sister. USCIS approve it and stated it will send to the NVC. Few days later I got a notice from NVC with Case number and Invoice number to go online and pay  and start on the D260. My question is I though since it this is for brother and sister it will be a long wait like 10 yrs. How come the NVC already sending me the case number and invoice number for payment. Do I just pay and complete the D260 and wait for 10 yrs? Or is this the next step and once done they will have the interview?

There is some protection under CSPA but yes in general if they are over 21 (or married even if under 21) they cannot be included as derivatives. And yes, it would be F2B for over 21 unmarried children. If the children get married then your sibling would have to become a citizen before being able to petition them.

by the way this is not a “new law”, this has always been the case.

ok thank... I though before unmarried child over 21 still count as derivative. Until the Supreme Court rule in 2015.

  15. Just want to double check. So I am a US citizen petition my sibling. My sibling has kids. I know this will take 10 yrs or more. By the time, the priority date comes. The kids will be older than 21 yrs old. Under the new law (read somewhere online), If they are not marry they still can’t be count as a derivative relative correct? So my sibling will have to petition their own children once they have a green card on a F2 visa?
