  1. My fiancee is going to Manila for her interview and was sent DS-156 DS 156K and DS 157. 4 copies of DS 156, and 157. And 1 copy of DS 156k. Problem is our 6yr old babygirl Marian who is originally on the Fiancee Petition and on my Affidavit of Support will not be accompanying her mom to the U.S. for another 6mts. So my question? Is any forms required for our 6yr old daughter if she's not coming to the U.S. just yet? Please respond as quick as possible, my Loie's interview is in 3 days.

  3. in my case the suspense stage has already expired, its been almost 5 years since my husband has submitted the petition, everytime we call the manila embassy they always tell us to wait for their notification when an appoinment date will be available for me, i am almost losing hope but i keep on praying for strength to be able to stretch my patience. the paper works we submitted were completed last february we are now waiting for an available interview date. thanks for all the information you have shared it makes me feel a lot better to know that there are others who more or less are in the same situation that i am in. Good luck to all and God bless!

5yrs??? How come it's taking that long? I'm a little confused. What petition did you file?

5 years?? are u sure it is 5 years?:unsure:

  4. Does anyone have info, or know where we can find info on a child or children that will follow mother to the US after a year. My fiancee and I have decided to wait until she's settled and made all adjustments here before we go back to the Philippines to fetch our daughter. She is included on the K1 application and my Affidavit of Support. All responses are appreciated

  5. It hadn't even occured to me to worry about an age difference. I'm 30, he's 42. I REFUSE to worry about it, there are lots bigger age differences out there that are getting approved.

Good, don't worry about it. :)

And if ya'll haven't figured it out yet, asante is a troll, don't feed it, and don't let it worry you. ;)

Is this you or your friend? Did they file a K1?

i put my reply on the wrong window. My bad... :innocent:

  6. Big gammer,

So who is 45? The American or the foreigner?

I think it would be MORE suspicious if its the American who is 45 because COs know that some goofy older guys are susceptible to being tricked by young girls who want to come to US and bolt from the mid life crisis laden guys as soon as the jet touches the ground and the too warm blooded girls can get past the POE.

    --------------------------

how about a 19 year old girl (who just turned 20 today) and is getting married to a 45 year old man?

    **what ya think??
