  1. Hi everyone so hopefully somebody here can help me. So I got a order from a immigration judge granting me the approval of my case back in may 2018. I went to the Detroit inmmigration office  in august of this year and i took every paper work to get my first stamp and my passport and they did it for me the only bad think is that is was just for only 6 months. Now they said that i should have receive my first green card now and nothing has been done. I even called the immigration and there is really no answer to my case for some reason is unregistered but i did pay everything did anyonee here experience same or similar situation, I am just desperactetly i want my first green card :(

  2. Update:  Two weeks ago I had my hearing in Miami FL immigration court I had to travel there, it lasted almost 2 hours. It was i consider bad because i was not expecting so many questions from the prosecutor, the judge and my attorney, I was terrified my best friend was there with me thank God, long story short at the end the judge ask the prosecutor if he consider that I can stay in the country and he said yes, now because I live here in michigan and everything is in FL my last call hearing is going to be this wednesday the 25th, judge ask to send documents, passports, new physical which you have to renew now every year and records of my probation that i did finished everything and a new birth certificate which my attorney has but the judge requested a new one so she wants to see every personal document and it would be the last time i would hear hopefully from this nightmare.

  3. Case update with my attorney

I did receive your message. I will contact the Office of Chief Counsel to
see if they will agree to the motion to terminate so you can have USCIS
adjudicate your application. You really don't need to worry, although a lot
of procedures have been changing there is nothing that would affect your
particular case. There has been recent litigation over your particular
criminal issue which is favorable to you. Give me a week or so to try and
get an answer from the OCC. I do appreciate your patience and I am here for
    you.

Did the Chief Counsel joined you? having the vawa is a plus,

however with cimt in the mix...pray, stay focused & think about

what ifs & have a plan B.....best wishes

Hi Jawaree no i have not been able to have the chief counsel to join me im still working that out with my attoney i know i have to think about a plan B what a desperate and insane time, best wishes to you :*

  5. Update about my case, my second hearing was supposed to be this month on the 17th and now my hearing got moved until next year :wow: is been way too long this is what my attorney send me, so sad because is taking my life away

I just received notice in the mail that the court hearing date has been

rescheduled to June 21, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. I do not know the reason for the
delay in the proceedings as the Court did not indicate any basis and I did
not receive any motion from DHS requesting a continuance.

However, since this is a long delay, I am going to attempt to contact the
Office of Chief Counsel again and request that they join me in a motion to
terminate for USCIS processing. Otherwise, I could submit a motion to
expedite, but those motions are often not favored, nor granted by the Court.

A copy of the new notice is attached. Please let me know your thoughts.

  6. Time goes by quickly on these cases, IF the IJ gives you relief then its a done deal

if going before the judge prepare in having all docs, include a letter of remorse, I'd

suggest you do some volunteering locally, take a letter from your church home.

right know DHS will hold off but as the final date approaches they will be gearing up

although you have a vawa approval...could your CIMT be vacated (just a thought)

HI Jawaree my attorney and I had everything for this past hearing but this IJ was just being difficult unfortunately, I have written a letter already and some of my friends did the same thing, my CIMT could not be vacated I did try that already but I was denied so right now I am in a freaking limbo waiting ;/, wha too you mean with a done deal?

  7. Update about my case so since I have a criminal offense which is aggravated felony (moral turpide) my individual hearing was this month the judge could not make a decision because she didn't have all my file which they did had plenty of time the reason why I had an individual hearing was because I've been put in removal proceedings but that is until 2019 it was to fight removal and the fact that I am an approve VAWA petitioner but for her I am still deportable, ok now moving on after all I have to wait until court to make a decision, the good thing about this is that the judge in this hearing relief me from my criminal charges she's dismissed them, hopefully I would hear good things about my case since is very complicated and I hope that the relief from my charges help my case because is been stuck now for 9 months .....

  8. I think all VAWA cases go to NBC, but go to the VAWA thread and ask to be sure

On the I 601 hardships must be shown, and is this a case where the IJ can give

you relief?...ask your atty....I thought everyone had to send in an I 192 with the

petition whether its needed or not

hi Jawaree always so kind to look up on my case thanks for replying what do u mean for IJ and what is the I-192 petition?

  9. Update !!!So i found out before the end of the year that I a have a deportation order but is until 2019, so it looks like the case is looked, but since I am an approve VAWA petitioner I should not have any issues with filing a motion about my removal proceedings which i already did, never got a response from the judge, and she was supposed to have a response by Nov 12, 2015. Now I have a individual hearing postpone until march 2nd of this year. Any help with this yes I have an attorney but I always like to hear different opinions. Sadly my case got transferred to NBC and I feel that because of this issue everything is delayed I am on my 7th month and I am getting desperate :(

  10. Guys!!!!! We've got approved!!!! It has been a long long waiting!! I can't believe it! and I can't explain how it feels to see those words...

There has been a recent processing action taken on your case.

    Receipt Number:xxxxxxx

If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

During this step, USCIS initiates the background checks of the applicant/petitioner and identifies issues that may need to be addressed either during an interview or by asking the applicant/petitioner to submit additional information or documentation. The timing of your appointment is determined by the number of applicants ahead of you that also need a biometric appointment. We try to schedule biometric appointments as quickly as possible and in most cases you will receive your appointment notice within 30 days of submitting your application. We will send your appointment notice approximately 14 days ahead of your scheduled appointment. It is important that you keep this appointment. If absolutely necessary, you can request that your appointment be rescheduled however, please be aware that rescheduling may delay the processing of your application. Please follow the instructions on your appointment notice if you need to reschedule. Occasionally, you may receive an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center to have your fingerprints taken when you have filed a form other than those listed above. In these situations, you may receive your appointment notice more than 30 days after submitting your application or petition.
