  1. My USCIS account status updated to this

    Fingerprint Review Was Completed

As of May 22, 2018, we completed our review of your fingerprints and are working on your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number XXX, at our Vermont Service Center location. We will let you know if we make a decision or need anything from you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

has anyone else received status updates I was trying to find the progression to see what comes next..

  2. Hey Everyone, I have a question,

so i received my biometrics letter a few days ago while i was away so I opened it today and the appt is scheduled when I have class.. This wouldn't be a big deal but my program is very strict and does not allow absences so I'm going to check the reschedule box and resend it but I also included a letter with when I don't have class so possibly they will schedule around it **finger crossed**. I am also going to try and go to the Manchester USC and see if I can get in early it's a week in advance so I'm thinking they will say no but I'll try anyways. What do you guys think about this plan I am a little worried and anxious.

Don't worry, you won't be out of status and if you need it, you can get a I-551 stamp in your passort. Your status is valid until they make a decission on your case.

Okay awesome my husband and I will be travelling a bit this year so I was nervous I wasnt going to be able to. My understanding is as long as you have the NOA1 and your greencard your fine, but I could also just get the stamp right..

Lucky you to be filing at the VSC! It will be much faster. Here is the link to the spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1iGyq5ZCEZ6fOYJCSryivspbAo6dQUacfHJH9AuL51Wg/edit#gid=1710824375

Ugh I saw 12 -15.5 months I didnt realize it took so long atleast after I get my NOA1 my greencard gets extended for a year.. my question is if it takes 15.5 months wont I be out of status for 3 and half months ? Im hoping it goes fast I put so much evidence in the packet plus I wasnt interviewed for AOS so hopefully that happens again!

  5. Yess! It will!

    When is your graduation?

June 8th but after we are going to Punta Cana but I'm scared because I don't want them to give me an interview date while I'm gone. It seems they give interviews a month out though so I think I am okay. Still hoping I get approved without an interview fingers crossed ??? so happy for you that's awesome you got your green card especially since they messed up your EAD !!

My status says EAD Card is being produced for the past 20 days. No change. I called USCIS, they said "Allow 60 days for the card to be produced".

I don't understand. I see other people, almost everyone get their cards withing the next week.

Did anyone have to deal with this before?

It goes from card being produced to card has been mailed to me that's the update that means it's coming you won't get it until that update generally.

  6. Oh wow, I hope it gets solved quickly and you will receive your SSN soon - good luck!

I will go to the SSN office on Monday to follow up. Foolishly I trusted them and waited since the lady at the SSN even gave me a confirmation letter with a reference number. Based on your experience it might as well be the same with my case and ultimately I might find out my request is not even in the system :(

I have tried using USCIS website tracking:

    https://save.uscis.gov/CaseCheck

with a look up based on my alien number and it did show some sort of case review under Maryland (??? I live in Ohio) SSA Office but at this point I don't trust it much. Nevertheless, I do have a SSN, so hopefully that will allow me to work even if the name is not changed and therefore varies from the one on my Green Card...

I just looked at the case check and it showed my SSN case which got approved it says case returned. It took 8 weeks though so be patient.
