  1. Hello to everyone here , I finally got my passport back with the visa on it and it was a really exciting feeling.
My interview at the embassy went really well, They asked me how did we meet, how much do we talk, what does my husband do in the US, and when did I planned to go there .
I am actually writing here for a particular topic since I have seen so many comments about it , I am talking about the Taxes of 2015, the Woman at the Embassy who took my documents she asked me to return and get my 2015 Tax Transcript which I did not had with me , but then I said that I had forms W2s and she took them, she said that even though I should have had my Tax transcript these are ok. I said to here why are you requesting them so early she said they just want to make sure he had sufficent income but luckly I had my forms and Then she accepted those ...Other then that everything was really easy and the staff was amazing, I would just suggest not to freak out like I did , If you go good prepared you will be fine.

I am very thankful to everyone here , I have learned so much in this Forum and I am gone continue to be part of it for the rest of my process.

Good luck to everyone for their upcoming Interview and dont worry It will be fine :)

  2. I would not worry about that, I search it and found what i BELIEVE YOU you also read:

    http://photos.state.gov/libraries/macedonia/8573/archivePDFDec2010/iv-OF167.pdf

Its old (1993) and sounds like is for DCF which they do not do any more.

You paid a fee for AOS assesment, that by itself has more value or weight that a notarized I-864 which means nothing but a certification of the signature.

Trust me, sleep tight, DO NOT WORRY about a notarized I-864.

I actually read it on the Embassy's website , but I think you are right because everybody is saying that is not needed.

I am Overthinking everything at this point ,so anxious about the Interview !

    Thank You Frankjavir :)

Also do you think that I am good to go with these forms that are just signed by my Husband ,because he did not save a copy at the time he sent the doc to NVC ,so we just printed out and filled a new one ? is that okay ?

  3. So hello to everyone I need real help because I am freaking out . So I read on the website of my embassy that the I-864 must be sealed by an American Notary .I Really dont understand beacuse we sent one the NVC that was not sealed just signed by my husband and another one by my Joint Sponsor and it was everything ok we got a CC. After I Got my interview date I asked my husband to sign and sent me another form just in case to have it with me at my interview, the one that I have is only signed by my husband not sealed by an American Notary ? What should I go please help. 4 days to the Interview !!!

  4. Hi can you please tell me what to expect during the medical (TMI) I know, I'll also respect your wishes if you choose not to share.

No I dont mind to share . I had an appointment at 11 o'clock I was there . I was directed to the doctor's office first where she made me some question about my general health now and in the past she also did a quick check on my body. Then I had to do blood test and X-ray .after I was finished I returned after an hour to get the envelopes one sealed envelope for the embassy and one opened for the customs at my POE .

    Good luck .

  5. 1099 has the same function as a w2. It's a form generated for income tax purposes for certain types of income. Self-employed people and those on social security disability or retirement get these to report their income. There are

differences between a 1099 and a w2, but for your purpose they are the same thing.

Thank you , I think now I calm because I understood what it is , I just really freaked out because I thought that if he is independent contractor can not sponsor me but anyways thanks a lot :)

  6. don't think so....but consult him if he will be filing his taxes before your interview than you can take the tax return with 1099..... But as long as he only gets 1099 from his work

place i believe that will be OK. Others please chime in on this....

Thank you so much , I really didnt undestand this at all but now I am getting it. Yes he said he will get 1099 from his work place and send it to me , but regarding taxes he said he is not filling them yet . So, I think at my interview I am only getting this form and his paystubs , also he has a W2 of 2015 by a different job he had before should I ask him for that to ? A job he worked before we filled to the NVC ??
  7. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,does he work for an emplyer then he should be getting a W2...if he owns his own business then no W2....

    1099 --> https://www.debt.org/small-business/what-are-1099s/

Read the link about 1099 that is above. It is also a Tax document use to report income.

He works for a company but he is an independent contractor , so is form 1099 enough for me because he only has this ? Is this going to be a problem at my interview?

  8. Hi Sukie this is what NVC says" Bring updated Federal income tax information to the interview. If a sponsor filed an I-864 (Affidavit of Support) and provided the NVC with proof of an IRS Federal income tax extension in lieu of a Federal income tax return, bring the sponsor's most recent Federal income tax return to the visa interview.

I think that this is like a general statment everyone gets this on the P4 , alsp the most recent federal income tax return refers to the 2014 .

  9. Well ready all that should have been part of your petition package. you should only be taking updated things that happened after you petitioned. And it's really too late for affidavits

Just have your originals ready to hand over and your pictures easily accessible.

There's nothing to pay at embassy if you went through NVC..

Hi dwheels76 thank you ... and yes all of that was sent to USCIS, we sent like 3 year of skyping transcript and about 150 photos , I am only asking if these are at the embassy or I should get more at my interview, because I read somewhere that the embassy might not have them ...Also about the fees yes we went through NVC and paid everything I have the recipets, but It looks that in case your visa is approved you are supposed to make a payment online or something like that ?

  10. Sounds way more then normal did uscis or nvc stated your marriage as not bonafide? If not then just wedding pics should be enough and keep the chat history in a seperate map in case of... but i dont think they need that.

If uscis or nvc have any doubts they would have asked you allready for more evidence

Hi robrom123 , Thank you for your reply , no neither uscis nor nvc stated that, we never got a checklist or nothing like that, just asking to make sure !

I will take to my interview and you are right its a lot !!!

    Thanks once again .

  11. Hello Guys ... So my status at CEAC is finally showing ready and I cant wait to have my interview ,the date is getting closer.
I have been collecting all the documents that I might need, but I dont know if my bonafide evidence is enough :

1.I got skype transcript last 5 months (the others of 3 years were sent to uscis)
2.Photos (Wedding,Family,Friends,Everyday photos, Screen shoots on skype)
    3.Viber Chat History

Do you think this is enough ? I was wondering If it is a good idea to get Two Affidativ of marriage from our marriage Witness?

Also If I get approved ? do I need to make any Payment at the Embassy ?

Thank you in Advance :) Good Luck !

  12. Hello to everyone I just have a fast question for you guys , I would appreciate if someone could give me an answer ?

So I have my interview next month , my case got completed and I didnt ger a checklist , but we had a joint sponsor whose job was only three months new by the time we sent the file to NVC, in his tax transcript he was always working he just changed jobs? Do you think this is gone be a problem at my interview ? He makes enough but we only sent pay stubs for the last three months? Has anyone experience something like this ?

    Thank you .
