Received my green card in the mail last Friday!!! It expires in 10 years!! Only thing is they misspelled my first name. They have 2 f's in my name. There should only be one f. Can I travel out of the country with this?

Received notice on Friday that I-485 has been approved and my green card is being produced. I'm so happy!!!!

Hi everyone! Congrats to all the recent approvals!!! I've got my interview on Monday and I'm a bit worried. My husband and I don't have much proof. We've been married for almost 5 years now. But all I've got for the interview are pictures, utility bills, a lease, and we've got a 6 year old son. I'm worried that it won't be enough!!

My interview was cancelled last Wednesday and today I receive a notification saying that my new interview date is November 23rd. I'm wondering should I still go to the first interview date?

Just received an email and text saying that my interview has been cancelled!!! What could this possibly mean? Why is this happening? Has anyone heard of this or experienced this?? Help!!!!!

Yes Chicago is progressing well! All in all I'm looking at 5 months total aos time even with the RFE!!! Feeling so thankful!

Great news guys! My RFE has been pending for 9 weeks now!! Just received a notification from uscis and our interview has been scheduled!!!!! November 12 is my interview date and I am beyond excited!!! I received my EAD card a week ago and now this!!! I was worried I wouldn't have an interview until April of next year based on processing time on uscis website. I guess those dates are way off haha!!!

My RFE has been pending for 2 months now? What does this mean? Am I just waiting for an interview date? Or is my case still being worked on? I received my EAD card in the mail last week after 88 days of waiting. My local field office is in Chicago. Is there anything I can do to check why my RFE response has been pending for so long?

EAD card received in the mail today. Yayyy! Also my I-485 has been in RFE review stage for 2 months now. I submitted an error fix on that application about a week ago and saw that they assigned an officer yesterday to fix the name change error. Please tell me that this officer is the same officer that can move my status RFE review to "ready to schedule interview"! Or is that wishful thinking??

I'm even more concerned because my husband stopped working right around the time that we responded to the RFE. Our RFE was because my lawyer didn't include the affidavit of support.

Received my RFE ON July 23rd. Uscis received my response on August 4th. My case resumed on August 7th. I'm approaching 8 weeks on Friday and still nothing! Really getting worried but hoping to hear something soon!

I'm in Chicago and they're currently on November filers! This is not good. I've got a family reunion in my home country in March. Was hoping to get my gc by then my lawyer told me I'm not eligible for advance parole because I'm adjusting from an overstayed tourist visa. I'm a June filer. Just received EAD approval yesterday.
