  1. I got my K-1 in July 2015, got married August 2015,

then I sent in my package in late September.

About a month later, I did my biometrics, received 2 easy-fix RFE's, then responded to them right away.

Since then, my status was stuck on "RFE was received on December 15th, 2015."

Until yesterday, I randomly checked My Case Status, and it said "New Card is Being Produced"!

I was confused, then a few minutes later I checked again and the status had changed to "Case was Approved".

After reading a few forums and websites, I found out there's a 50/50 chance you might not get an interview, so I'm guessing my GC is on its way?

Has this happened to anyone else? I wasn't expecting things to turn so quickly, but I'm happy it looks like I'm getting my GC sooner than I thought.

I was just wondering if the GC is included in the acceptance letter they said they're sending me, and what the instruction on the notice might be, since

I saw somewhere that you need to get an appointment at your local USCIS office, and get your passport stamped, etc.

    My status reads:

    Case Was Approved

On February 29, 2016, we approved your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxxx.

We will mail you your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice.

  2. I applied for my AOS back in September 2015, and my status stopped updating after I sent in my RFE in December.

Back when I filed it, I thought I had to pay extra $340 to apply for EAD and recently I found out that's not the case, and I'm wanting to apply for both EAD and AP.

Has anyone been in a similar situation?

and about how long will it take for the EAD/AP to be approved?

My local office is still working on April 2015 cases so I gave up on waiting for the green card to come in.

I've already done my biometrics and just waiting for the interview date to be set.
