Since you became temporary resident. I am sure you will recieve something on mail soon. Because we submitted our packages almost at the same time, and i got approval.

I got RFE with explanations how to proof non-criminal background. I went to Police Department and ordered Certificate of Conduct. They checked me by SSN and by finger prints again. It took 10 business days to get this certificate. And additional 40 days to get my green card after i replied on RFE.

Sammyboy34, maybe something wrong with finger prints, i had similar situation, they did not process my papers until i proof my background. I got RFE because of that.

No email or any text messages, yesterday open the mail box and have found the approval letter saying that i will recieve a card during next 60 days.

Was delivered month ago to Vermont ((( i assume nothing will be done in Vermont till Christmas.

I also did not get any updates since i sent my RFE package. They told to wait 90 days.

I also sent my package Tuesday. Will keep you posting.

i have been reading this forum anonymously long time and want to share my experience.

i submit i751 jointly back in December 2014, got confirmation letter in January. in March i had biometric appointments and in April i got the second invitation for biometrics because FBI could not read my fingerprints.

From this time i did not hear anything from them until i decided to call them on Tuesday Sep 15 to find out my status. they helped me to place request to Vermont to clarify on what stage is my papers. And what you think i got today????.....Letter to provide more evidence. To be exact these agency wants me proof that i did not have any criminal background, because FBI still could not clear my fingerprints!!!! They want me to go to local police department or whenever to get confirmation. and it must be done form each state i ever lived otherwise they need explanation letter.

Here is my unique story, think it might help someone and morally support those who has as me difficult time.

P.S. my case was filled in Vermont, not transfered. no any RFE notifications i recieved by email or phone.
