  1. I went for my greencard interview 4 days ago in Dallas field office, in my opinion, I think it went well. We were asked about our relationship and confirmation of the questions on the forms we filled. We submitted a lot of evidence and mere thinking about it, it was enough. The officer was good but she said she would have to look at our documents and see if she would approve us or call us back for another interview. I don't know what that really means but its been days now and I dont see anything on my status change. I don't know why I am so worried. I need help. When I asked her how long it would take for us to hear from them, she replied 2 to 4 weeks.

I don't know if anyone has gone through something like this.. Please help

My wife filed her N400 in January with a pending ROC from December 2016.  Her N400 interview is scheduled for mid-April, so we did not see much of a delay.  If the ultimate goal is naturalization, why wait for the ROC since the N400 has its own processing clock, why not get that clock started.

    Good Luck!

Did you have to go for 2 interviews?  And did you go with your spouse?

I've done it myself. Check my timeline. I couldn't be more happier with my decision.

I was just reading your timeline.. I saw where you said you went for the first interview.. Did you have to do the second interview?

I am just curious... And when you say first interview, do you mean the N-400 Interview?

  4. Hi guys just wanna update y'all on my case. I had my AOS interview yesterday at 8:30am. We went in early and some Hispanic io officer came to lobby and got us. He walked to us to his office and introduced himself and informed us that another office will be present during our interview and to my suprise soon as we gave him all our documents, he asked my wife to go with him and few minutes later he got back and started interviewing me for about a good ole 45 minutes and then he walked me to the lobby and went on to interview my wife and at the end he didn't ask me for no additional info. All he said was we will receive a decision in the mail. So I wanted to know does it mean that we were denied cuz I'm so confused and nervous

And also did anyone experience anything similar to my case.

I couldn't sleep all night so worried

I hear separation comes only when there is suspicion.. Just pray, hopefully everything will be alright.. Please also share your timeline.. When did you send your package? Goodluck in advance.

  5. You're adjusting from an F-1?

    Yes I am..

Ouch, don't despair. Dallas has been severely back logged since last year. I know an August 2014 filer from Dallas who had his interview almost around 9-10 months. It has nothing to do with your case just the field office. You're almost there, you'll definitely get your interview letter not long from now. Adjustment interviews can stretch from a few months up to a year though depending on the field office.

Okay.. Thanks.. I was really worried.. The process won't let me focus on other things.. My imaginations just sails towards the AOS process every minute. Thanks again

  6. Hello People,

I filed and started my aos wait time since november 2014.

I don't know how long this usually takes but I've read a lot of timelines that estimates the process to be about 7 months.

I don't know if the problem is from my case or from Dallas field office.

Is there anyone suffering the wait time like me?

I need help.. its almost one year now, no interview letter, no response.

Is there anything I should do?

  7. Hello Everyone..

I have been following this thread and I'm happy for all those who have finished the stage one of the USCIS process which is getting the green card.

In my own case, I am worried because I have waited for 10 months now and haven't heard any word from USCIS.

I filed since November last year and reading your timelines; I think my notice for an interview is due.

My question is, has anyone who filed around November recieved anything? I am just worried.
