My fiancé and I are doing the K-1 Visa. I am the petitioner, I received notice from NVC that application has been forwarded to U.S. Embassy in Ciudad Juarez. How long does it usually take to hear about the interview?

When my husband and I were going through the K1 process we heard back about a week later.

I don't even know if it's sent. When I check the status on the USICS site it just says "Case was approved"

My husband got his I-131 & I-765 approved on October 30th, 2015. On Nov. 5, 2015 we received the approval notice in the mail. How much longer would it be to receive the physical card?

If his I-94 has expired or has less than two weeks of validity remaining then you would need either his EAD or green card before he could obtain a social security number.

Typically EADs are issued within 90 days of application

That's what we were told.

So we did file an AOS it was received last month & biometrics are next week...so maybe a month until we get an update?

you can get SSN number now, actually you could have gotten it when you came, all you would have to do is show your K1 visa to the ssn office. Take your passport,marriage certificate, birth certificate. they will give you a letter and mail it to you.

We did that when he came & we were told to take his I-94 , but according to the Social Security office it had expired and unable to get it. But we will look into that. Thanks!

My husband entered on a K1 Visa, we got married in July, filled AOS and it was received in August 2015 His biometrics appointment is next week and I was just curious to know how long after that would he get his work permit and be able to apply for his SSN.
