  1. Just got an email that said that my card was mailed today. Interview was last Friday with on the spot approval for a non conditional green card as we have been married more than 2 years. Interview was painless for us. Email on Monday said case certified approved and sent to appellate but then today the email says my card has been mailed. My case was through the Atlanta field office. Good luck everyone who is still going through the process!

  2. Had an update on my status this morning... On both the I130 and the I485, both have similar wordings... Is it something to worry about? I already had my card 'being ordered' almost straight after the interview. Also it says my card was ordered on 11/13/15.

Case Approval Was Certified By USCIS

On November 13, 2015, we certified the approval of your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxx, and sent it to the appropriate appellate office. That office will send you a final decision. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

  4. Had my interview this morning. Spent about 45 minutes waiting (although we arrived about 15 minutes before the scheduled time).

After taking the oath and confirming the address, she asked for all additional evidence we want to give her. She then asked some basic questions about how we met, our history, etc. while she went through all the pictures, letters that we showed her.

The entire interview took about 15-20 minutes. She approved us on the spot and gave us a letter saying the case 'would be recommended for approval'. She also said since we've been married for more than 2 years, I'll be getting an unconditional card and not a 2-year card. We got an automated email within 30 minutes saying 'new card is being produced'.

  5. I'd appreciate any guidance on whether I should move my file to Dallas.

I filed for my AOS (married a US citizen in 2012, but we lived outside the US. I've only been here since Feb 2015, I'm changing from a VWP). I filed in AL in May 2015 but live in Dallas now. The address I used is my in-laws so I can still receive my mail.

Having read about the delay in Dallas, I wonder if I should change my address to Dallas and potentially adding more delay to my case. I've had a couple of RFE's so I only had my EAD approved - case is in the mail. (I'm getting jealous and a bit depressed about my progress...)

    Thanks.

Apologies for bumping my own post, but I'd appreciate some input on this.

The only update is that my EAD is now approved with the card in the mail...

    Thanks.

  7. I'm applying for a AOS from my VWP, and I finally got my EAD approved (card is in the mail).

I intended to head straight to SSA to apply for my social security number once I get my EAD card. Now, I've been reading this forum and found this SAVE thing.

I can't find my record on SAVE. Should I just head to SSA anyway and apply? I don't want to add unnecessary delays and get lost in the paperwork if they can't find me in SAVE.

I've already got job interviews lined up so with luck, I may need the social security number pretty quickly.
