I am approuching 180 days soon . And I am from Vermont.
-
Congratulation !!! I hope my approval is coming soon also.

Me too. No touches since June 23rd.

Unfortunately, Vermont is no better. My NOA1 is March 8th and I still don't have my NOA2. I just don't
know what to think anymore, after seen so many people from May, June getting approved. It just breaks my heart, because this process is so unfair.
-
I can understand you frustration, I called them also today (my NOA1 is March 8) and as usually got nothing besides that my case was given to officer last Thursday and will be looked at in the next 30-60 days(even so last Tuesday they told it was already with the officer). I was trying to get them to tell me how come they approving people from May/June and my case is still collecting dust, but all I got is that she can not explaine to me that. It is so said what is going on there and it breaks my heart that I can not do anything . I don't even know what to tell my fiancee anymore, on why there is such a delay with our case. For the last 3 weeks I wake with only one hope that that day will be finally the one I get my approval.

My RFE response was received today by Vermont and they already updated my status
Current Status:
On June 23, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current processing dates.
I really hope I will have my approval by the end of this month, cause this whole wait thing is just killing
me and my fiancee.

Got my IMBRA RFE in the mail today, and already sent it back to Vermont.
Here is a scan of the RFE IMBRA_RFE.pdf

Got my RFE in the mail also, it's going back to Vermont later today by Fedex overnight.

My case was just touched and now I know for sure my IMBRA RFE is on the way. Yeah!!!!
"On June 16, 2006, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 30 days have passed and you have not received the notice. Please contact the service center where you submitted your application during business hours.

Is that what that smily face means?

Yeah!!! My case was touched today, my RFE must be on the way.

Female with a deep voice.

I did, your missed my post on the first page. I was told they are preparing RFE for my case and I should get it very soon
-
After you enter your case number, listen status to the very end until you hear to press 1, 2 or 3 options. From there you select 3->2->1
-
I just spoke with Vermont also, and lady told me that RFE for my case was prepared right now and I should get it very soon!!!
-
Just wondering other than Razor and myself is anyone else still waiting from March for the NOA2 from Vermont?
I am, and hope I will be one of the first people to get RFE, since my NOA1 is March 8th.
-
The new RFE form already approved!!! Read updated statement.
-
May be this method only works for petitions that haven't been approved yet.
-
Call 1-800-375-5283. Select 1->2->6->1 and enter you receipt number (EAC...). Listen to your case status
to the very end and then select 3->2->1 and you will hear that you've been connected to the Vemont
service center. I posted this methode many times, but for some reason other people were saying, they
could not get to Vemont like that, but I've been calling them almost every week for the last 2 months.

I just spoke with Vermont. Finally I heard a good news. They resumed processing K1's, my case was
picked up by an officer last week (before they kept telling me that my petition was in security checks only).
She asked me If I submited any papers about criminal records with my petition, and I told her that it was
not required at that time. It's funny that she was telling me that everything is explained on their website
regarding this new law. So she told me, that she does not know if officer will be requesting any additional
papers from me after the review of my case.

I actually think this is NOT the info we´re expecting. The news in that other thread about CSC seems promising though.
EDIT: From that other thread. CSC told someone that they are sending a form regarding IMBRA soon. VSC told a different person that they have no procedures as of yet. Who´s misinformed?
Neither has a direct phone line to talk to the specific SC. We all call the same 1-800 number. It just depends on who answers the phone at the customer service center as to the exact wording of the information that is given to someone. Each service rep will tell their version at a given time.
If it was official, then each customer service rep. would give the same clear and concise answer (we hope).

That is not true, I did speak to Vermont rep (I was told that I am being connected to VCS and the lady on the phone introduced herself as Vermont customer service rep). I just do not know why you guys can not get to VCS using my method.

I can't believe it finally happened. I just came back from visiting my fiancee in Ukraine
and found out we got NOA2 on September 13. I wish I could have checked
my status over there, cause it was so hard for me go back without knowing
when we will see each other again. Can't wait for her to wake up and read my SMS,
that we were approved.
