Congratulations!!! How long did he have to wait from the interview day until he picked up the Visa? My own has to wait a week.

Just wanted to say congrats to everyone out there that just got approved, got thier interview date, passed the interview, got the visa and those that have thier love ones at home right now.

My hubby`s interview was a success too!!! he was only asKed two questions ( where does she work, how did you met) didnt even ask for email, phone record etc, just looked at 2 wedding pictures (he was done in 5 minutes) but the wait for the interview was almost 8 hours just like everbody else have indicated on this forum) He picked up his visa and will be here by first week in may. .It`s been a really loooooooooong journey but thank God it`s over now!!!!

I want to use this opportunity to thank you all for your love and support on this forum.I didnt feel as lonely as i would if i didn`t have my VJ family.Thank you all!!!!!!! and i also pray that those who are still waiting will have good news to share very soon.

Thanks everybody for your reply. I hope i get an interview date soon cos the usually wait for my consulate is btw 4 and 8 months.I just cann`t wait for this to be over.Congrats and goodluck to those that have interview dates already.

After a case is completed at NVC, do they send a letter saying the case has been completed?if so how long usually does it take to get this letter.Thanks

I was going to have my hubby download the DS-230 form, sign and send it to me by next week just to save time as other people have done in VJ.However, the only form i see says expiration is 7/31/07.Does anyone have the new one?or the date doesnt matter???????

Reschduling already set interview dates bcos of "lack of employee", hmm!!!!!.After all this waiting.

Hi Vj members i was wondering if there`s anyone that has been scheduled by NVC for interview(CR1) in Lagos.I`m not sure if this is new, but Lagos embassy is one of the ones listed as "appiontment" on NVC website meaning documents such as birth cert, marraige cert, copy of passport and police report are submitted to them and then, NVC wld schedule the interview.

Is this new for CR1 for Lagos embassy? and hw long does it take for NVC to schedule interview after case is completed at NVC?
