So you wait the day before your interview to as this question?

I would say that when in doubt, just have everything translated and bring both original and translated copies with you to the interview.

whats the difference if i did it 2 months before the interview?? we don't appreciate your negativity. btw visa approved moving back home soon!

I saw something on a forum a while ago about if you get a checklist after case complete it's a "false checklist". I hope this is the case for you, I suggest giving them a call!!

il give them a call today! but also wondering, I found out about my case complete over the phone, not by email. So im wondering if because I hadnt recieved the case complete email yet, that this might be a real checklist? Il call any way... thanks :)

  3. Same here. That's a perfect way of summing it up. 'I don't even feel married at this point'. I don't feel like a real wife. Only people going through this can understand that. When I tell friends or co-workers that I don't feel like a real wife they just don't get it.

Not much longer now for you, I'm sure. London is very fast to do interviews.

same here!! luckily after we got married, I was lucky enough to get my EU privelidges very quickly... (so we have lived abroad ever since) but at times it seems like I have an imaginary husband because he hasnt met my closest friends and family yet... we just celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary

  4. we are filing from outside the USA. our i130 was approved, now we are about to send the affidavit of support and immigrant visa application. BUT I just saw this... http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1 and it says that after the i130 is apporved you can go for interview??? Im so frustrated and confused about what the actual process is!!! any help is appreciated

  5. Me and my husband are about halfway though the whole immigrant visa process. It is proving to be extremely difficult, and it is persuading us to keep living life in Europe, and only visit family and friends in the US occasionally. Is it worth cancelling what we have done so far, in order to apply for a tourist visa??? This whole process makes me want to never live at home in the US again. See our other topic for added info....

  6. A Visitor Visa interview can usually be obtained in a week or os.

Why is that? May have issues for an immigrant visa as well.

he overstayed a canadian work visa, and was paroled into the us, then had to leave in a certain amount of time. because of that he cant get the visa upon entry anymore. He had applied for a tourist visa in the past and was denied because he couldnt prove enough ties to home. but now we have been living in Europe for 2 years and have established ourselves here after a lot of traveling....

  7. Yes, he can apply. You can't really do anything to make it "easier." He would have to prove that he will return home after the visit. At this point his ties seem to be stronger in the US than outside. To know for sure submit the application and have the interview.

well we both have great jobs/house/cars in Switzerland.... im confident we have enough proof!

  8. Hello! I am an American citizen married to a Czech citizen. We are in the process of applying for his immigrant visa and green card. We have had out I130 approved, but are waiting to hear about the Affidavit of Support approval. He has been denied a tourist visa before we were married and is no longer eligible for the ESTA visa, but we are wanting to go visit my friends and family in the US. Is it possible to re-apply for a tourist visa while we are in the the middle of dealing with the immigrant visa? Would he be able to come with me to the US embassy in Prague to ask and reapply for the tourist visa? We are able to prove strong ties to Europe, and have no intention of immigrating to the US immediately.... any help would be amazing! thanks!
