  1. My fiance's interview is at 8:35 :) I bet you'll see him there!

I went for mine Monday, in Brisbane. They can't stamp your passport, Is not for them to do. passport is Only for use by Immigration authorities in relation to your travel to and from countries.

Your medical report will be sent to you, in this case. I am actually going back to Brisbane and picking mine up, cos If it doesn't get to you in mail you have to redo the medical again and another $485.

The doctor writes up his report, which is given to you, everything they need is in that report, and Yes you take it with you to the interview.

Hope to catch up with you there on Nov 20.. I got 9:15am appointment :joy:

  2. My fiance went and had his medical completed in Brisbane today at Anzac Square Medical. They said they don't forward the paperwork to the Embassy and that it will be mailed to him. I'm assuming that he is just to take that paperwork with him to the interview?

Also, they didn't stamp his passport, and we had both read that his passport should have been stamped to show that the medical has been completed. Is that going to hold up the approval?

  3. Phone (for immigrant visa inquiries only):

    (603) 334-0700. Customer Service Representatives can speak with you Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight EST, excluding holidays.

Phone (for nonimmigrant visa inquiries only):

    (603) 334-0888. Customer Service Representatives can speak with you Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight EST, excluding holidays.

This is the NVC contact information. I would call the nonimmigrant visa #, correct?

I called non-immigrant solely because I couldn't get a human on the phone with the immigrant #. They were very helpful.

  4. Hey all, just now linking up to August filer post :) I filed 8/18 and according to the website was approved 9/14. I haven't received my hard copy of the NOA though and haven't heard anything from the NVC. Called USCIS and they said that they sent the NOA2 and that it had been forwarded on to the NVC shortly after 9/14. He said if I hadn't heard anything 30 days from 9/14 to call back. Frustrating.

  5. So our NOA1 was dated 8/25/15. The USCIS website showed that our case was approved on 9/14/15. But I still haven't received a hard copy of the NOA2 or any emails or texts about it being approved.

I called USCIS today and they said that our case was approved on 9/14/15 and forwarded directly to the NVC and that the NOA2 was sent out a few days after that. He asked if I have moved, which I have. But I got a hard copy in the mail of them acknowledging that I had moved, so I would assume that they would have the new address, and the mail is forwarded anyways.

Anyways, he said if I hadn't gotten the NOA2 in the mail and/or hadn't heard from the NVC in 30 days from 9/14/15 to call back. That seems like a long time to just wait around. Anything else I should be doing?
