I spoke with a tier two today. She told me my file has been at field office sine 11/16... I see that my office is processing cases from march 16 as of September 22. I am incredibly stressed!

I'm pretty sure they're all behind. I'm guessing that there's a few cases from that period that haven't been resolved yet(suspected fraud or something) that holds those quoted dates back. I wouldn't rely on them at all to accurately base your timeline off of.

BelgianEclair is at the same service center (Omaha). My husband's status was also updated to interview scheduled today. Just waiting on the letter. Hang in there guys!

Can someone add our update back in? I updated it (you can see on page 20) and someone posted an older one so now we're not updated on it anymore. I don't want to have to update it again only for it to be ignored/over looked.

No, its like an hour away Maybe I can try a walk in the day before or so? Going to see the office reviews. Has anyone tried changing offices? I could try to change to Alexandria

Ours is an hour away too and they scheduled it during our university classes so we're doing an early walk in next week. As long as you have the paper with you, there shouldn't be any issues.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it but you'll have an easier time finding a job by networking and attending career fairs. Look for business organizations you can join in your area or see if there's any alumni from your university in your area. It's really hard to get a job, even for citizens. I applied to 70 internships in the last year and only had one interview and tons of denial letters. If you have the qualifications, see if you can work as a secretary for a law office. If worse comes to worse and you need cash, call centers always need people. Just be careful because most will try to overwork you and sometimes the nature of the calls can be hard to deal with. (Debt collection, student loans, etc)

how long can they take to send a NOA after they cashed the check?

I'm so impatient, especially because I think I filed in the wrong center

Ours arrived today. Took about 6 days and was sent from Iowa. I'd give a USPS mail estimate of 3 to 14 days. Ours was postmarked 9/26.

Still waiting...we'll be in the process of naturalization if they wait until this time next year to process our file. haha

Planning ahead of the approval already.

We want to be able to move between countries if needed once we graduate university so naturalization just makes sense. Plus we're studying abroad in 2017 for 5+months and I don't want my husband to have issues when we return back to the US.

Quick question, I thought I posted it earlier, but do we need to bring our drivers license to the biometrics appointment or is just bringing the greencard and appointment paper good enough?

Question, do you just bring your GC to the biometrics appointment or do you also need the passport or drivers license? My husbands drivers license is expired since it was a learners permit and he never got the O class one. Should he renew it to bring with him just in case? Thanks guys!
