The message above that you are seeing must have been there since they sent you letter for FingerP and this messase seems to have for FingerP only.

So nothing to worry abt it...you will soon receive interview letter ...keep checkin status as it may update when they send interview...

our case is same.....got FP notice and done on 2/2 and our status says same thing as above since than.

We also got that yellow letter on last saturday same as you but this has nothing to do with status..

and our case no also starts with NBC*..

so dont worry too much...

Oh wow Rajoooo. Our case is kind of at the same timeline. I noticed that the case status update it was the date on my FP notice.

I finally can check my case online. But now I think it comes with the problem. I never received any request additional letter dated show below but the only one I received on the past saturday(yellow letter) requested to bring along with the interview. What should I do? Anybody receive some error message like this before? Please advise. Thank you

Are you including the * that is part of the number when you try to check it? The * is also part of the number and needs to be included. NBC, btw, refers to 'National Benefits Center' . Citizenship applications are processed initially there then forwarded to your local USCIS office for the interview rather than one of the service centers.

I had FP done on 2/2. I have received yellow letter the past staurday requested to bring the additional document along with the interview. I have tried to check my case online but the system did not acknowledge my file #.

Usually it will show on the top of the page.

I wonder why my file # start with the strange code NBCxxxxxxxxx

I study that it has to start with the service center code EAC,LIN,WAC ect.

Is something wrong with my case?

I filed N-400 on Dec 09 and received NOA on Dec 16.

My questions are following;

1. Does NOA state about biometric notice?

2. How long should I expect about biometric?

3. What should I do if i dont receive biometric schedule?

I am still waiting for biometric appointment noitice. In NOA states that my case is processing and I will receive the appointment schedule.. IS this the same to everyone.

I went for interview 2 days ago,it was approved but i couldn't get a visa right away because they have to get the result for FBI name check. I've never heard about this before. I read one topic that say about FBI name check,it's surprised,that's for Greeen card !!!

How come it takes for K1 or this is new process??

I-129F ready to go, except for one thing. I'm a bit cloudy on as to whether or not I should put my band name in the other names used section. I'm Metis, and shortly after my birth, my father gave me my band (native) name. My fiance, his mother, all his friends, and a good portion of mine call me by my native name, however its not on any of my legal documents as I have not formally changed my name yet. All the same, should my native name go in the Other names used section with a supplement to explain?

In your country if you don't have the name changed " LEGAL " you don't need to fill it in. As my country is pupular to change the name with LEGAL,when we go for interview we need to bring those name changed documents for their reference. As you case my opinion don't need to fill in, just put " NONE "

I just received this notification in the mail today, talk about a very good Friday!!!! Hopefully it won't be long now, I'm due to deploy to Iraq soon and need to bring my sweetheart and our daughter to Michigan before I have to leave. I need to spend some quality time with them both!!!

your case has been approved very fast,I submitted the application at Nebraska center since Oct 5 last year,but i am still waiting for NOA 2. Hopefully i will get good news soon.

Wish you getting the interview set up in China very very soon.

After waiting since Saturday, I finally got the letter in the mail. The information they are looking for isn't bank statements, phone bills, emails, pics or letters. In fact, they need more proof on my fiance's divorce. Evidently the document we submitted with the english translation wasn't the actual certificate of divorce but the request for the divorce. So for a Greek divorce we need two documents, one from the church and one from the courts. So off my fiance goes to speak with his lawyer tomorrow to get these two documents, with english translations and copies of all documents back and front. Ugh!!!!!

Hopefully we can get this in to the Vermont office soon. We have a deadline to get this in by July 16th.

I also got RFE on Apr 3,it's similar request as you.Don't worry,please speedy to submit the additional request and hopefully everything will get done soon
