  1. So they sent me an RFE saying that they need a letter of my sponsors job. So letter of employment containing dates of employment , number of hours per week worked. Yearly salary. And pay stubs or other documentation of pay for the last 6 months.

It's annoying cus I originally sent them that info. Not so in detail but ninjas sent a letter of employment and taxes and some lay stubs. I guess they want to see it again. Well I'm hoping to Send it by Wednesday at latest.

Thanks for sharing BarbaraL. I just got the rfe from mail...and it's about our joint sponsor... They said that our joint sponsor did not meet the poverty guideline( which of course she did) so we will just work on it again.

  2. Got my hard copies of my NOA from the mail last friday (11/13/15)?

Now waiting for my biometrics appointment?

I sent a G1145! I think because that I am so nervous!! I am afraid why it is taking so long!! How I am gonna know if they lost my pack?

@flaviadacqua did you get any notifications yet?

If not maybe you can try to call customer service to inquire if they received your application...

  3. I am kind of nervous :( ... I did not receive anything until today!! My package was delivered Oct 30 in the morning!!

Did u send G 1145 (e notification)? Mine got delivered too on the 30th..got email/txt notifications last nov 08, but still waiting for hard copies of NOA.

If you did not send any enotification..g1145..maybe hard copies of NOA are on the way...

  4. Guys, I finally got my 3 receipt notices last night.(I130, I485and I765)

And now checks were cashed too.

Anyone know what happens next? I assume NOA in the mail for finger print?

Wow! Good start for you. Hope I will receive mine too soon?. According to what Ive read, you're supposed to receive appointment for biometrics after you receive your NOA in the mail. When did they receive your application?
  5. Why do people continue to state that the immigrant's income cannot be used? The I-864 instructions are very clear on this matter. If the intending immigrant is working in the US legally, and their income will continue from the same source once they become a permanent resident, then their income can be used on the USC spouse/sponsor's I-864.

Did the USC sponsor already include the stepchild as a dependent on his taxes? If not, then they are not a dependent yet and not counted on the foreign spouse's I-864. As already stated, the foreign spouse will be counted on the stepchild's I-864.

Thank you @ newacct and @ kaydeecee. Those are very helpful information.

My husband have not included my daughter yet to his tax so that makes sense that she wont be a dependent child..

Just want to make sure I got it right..

In my USC husband's i 864 for me ( wife)- i dont need to complete i 864 as an intending immigrant if i want to include my income

In my USC Husband's i 864 for stepchild(which is my daughter)- i need to complete i 864A if we want to include my income...

    Did i get it right?

  6. On the I-864 for you, you are the intending immigrant. No form is needed to include your income if it is legal and can continue after becoming a permanent resident.

On the I-864 for your daughter, you are just the sponsor's household member. You are not a sponsored immigrant. You need to fill out an I-864A if the sponsor needs to include your income.

    Thank you a@newacct!

Would you know if it's true(i've read somewhere) that I don't need to include my daughter as part of household size if she has her own i 130 petition?(for the i 864 that my USC husband is completing for me(wife)

And the same way..when my husband is completing my daughter's i 864...i assume my husband have to include me in household size as spouse right?

It's confusing to me..im sorry..and thank you for all the advices

  7. Hi

    I am torned if I have to complete the i 864 ..

I am the intending immigrant, currently working,,, my USC husband's income will not meet the required income so im thinking to put my income as well..and it says no need to complete i 864 if "no accompanying deoendent", my USC husband also completed separate i 864 & i 130 for my daughter(my husband's stepchild)

Would you consider my daughter as "accompanying dependent? Or NOT since she has her own i130 petition and separate i 864?

Please advice. Thank you very much

  8. Hi everyone, I need your help again pls...

    First question: Household size

My USC husband is completing separate i 864 for me (wife) & my daughter(stepchild) there's 3 of us living together..

How do we complete Part 5 for each? Initially this is how I did it

Part 5 i864 for me (wife)

    #1 - 1 (wife -intending immigrant)

    #2 - 1 (yourself -usc husband)

#3 - 0 (since i dont need to count myself twice, already in no.1)

#4 - am i supposed to put 1? (Dependent children- usc step daughter) or 0? (I've read somewhere that you are not supposed to include anyone who have separate i 130 petition(my usc completed a separate i 130 too for my daughter) this is where I get confused. Is the article that Ive read right?

But then if I put 0 how will our householdsize becomes 3?

And then how we are supposed to do with my daughter's i 864 household size count??

    My 2nd question is

As an intending immigrant, Ive read that my income can be use as part of the household income if it will continue from the same source after I gained permanent residency..(since my husband's income will not meet Federal poverty guidelines)

Do i need to fill out i 864 too?(it says intending immigrant dont need to fill out if NO ACCOMPANYING DEPENDENT

would you consider my daughter as "accompanying dependent"? (Since she has a separate i 130 and i864 as a stepchild of USC) i thought I don't need to fill out i 864 in our case???but I want to make sure before we complete the whole form..

Sorry this is too long...but thank you again in advance for all your understanding and advices...

  9. SS disability benefit is not an income that can be use to sponsor so ignore that on the form and write a letter explaining why he didn't file tax 2014.with you joint sponsor you should be fine as long as he/she meet or over the poverty guildline.

    Thank you mat_buky!

So do I put 0 to his current annual income?

And do I still need to send that letter we've got from the ss office with regards to the monthly benefit he's getting?
