My So far story in a nutshell:

I had my interview on August 31st 2015, was told all looked good, given a white slip that said "congrats on the approval of visa" and 5 days you would receive passport vis currier.. Passport was taken...

-checked my status on "CEAC" a couple days later and my application went Into "AP".

-September 3rd My status changed to "READY" and and that "Your case is open and ready for your interview, fingerprints, and required documents. If you have already had your interview, please check your status after two business days. If no interview was required, please check back in two business days for the status of your application." ...​Thinking that already I had my interview previously, Ill just wait the extra few days and I would receive my passport...

-Today 9th September I receive a call from Embassy saying I need to come back for a "Re-interveiw. What do you all think? any advise? anyone face the same situation? is this normal?

Mine is opposite. Went on "AP" for 3 days now on "Ready" for 4 days. Wondering what my next step will be...

any update on this thread? Im now in the same situation. Im waiting for my B2 visit visa. Im now in the "Ready" status... Ive been out of AP since September 3rd

Yesterday was a holiday in the US therefore it has been 1 business day since your interview. My advise is to wait a few days for your visa to be printed.

I had my interview for B1-B2 visit Visa on 31st August 2015 in Abu Dhabi. Interview went well, and my passport was taken. In return they gave me a slip that said "Congratulations on the approval of your Visa", that there was still some work to do to finalize the case and that within 2-3 business days I would receive my Visa via empost currier.

When I got home I went to the Website (CEAC) to check my status and it seems like my file had went to " ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING". On the 3rd of September the Staus changed to "Ready" and reads "Your case is open and ready for your interview, fingerprints, and required documents. If you have already had your interview, please check your status after two business days. If no interview was required, please check back in two business days for the status of your application."

​Its now 8th September and I have no feedback... Any Idea how long this process will take? I don't have my passport which is the most irritating thing as my vacation starts on 14th September and i haven't even confirmed my travels... Im assuming that they are doing checks but the dates they mentioned are not matching.
