I have a question about this if you were a minor (went to america when i was 8 and over stayed a tourist visa after 8 years till I was 15) left america came home to my homeland and incase anybody wondering did i get kicked out of america or have any trouble I didn't. me and my mom decided to go back and live in our homeland but I got married and my husband is an american citizen he wants to live in america he filled me a k1 visa and everything is good had interview said i was approved but my ceac satues says issued while the council where I was interviewed at says Im under administration process. would that not let that me enter america until after 10 years even if i was a minor?

hello everyone I'm new to this website so i don't know where to post this topic other than here. Ive been married since March 20,2013 My husband is a U.S citizen he applied for me an IMMIGRATION VISA which I'm not sure i believe a K-1. my interview date was on June 26, 2015 it went very well the councilor officer told me everything is good no papers are missing and I am approved and i should get my passport in two weeks. On july 17my statues on CEAC says ISSUED and your visa has been printed. Your visa will be returned to you by courier soon. If there are any further questions or information needed you will be contacted. I waited till august 13 sent the embassy where I was interviewed a message asking whats going on with my case why its taking long? and Why haven't I received back passport yet? which they replied its in final process this process takes up to two weeks some even more. Then again I sen same message after three weeks same message they replied back then beginning of september I asked again they replied saying the PARAGRAPH BELOW!!!!!!!! Now i feel so confused I don't know what to do so I need Help getting my Visa. I was wondering should I hire a lawyer like would that help get it soon and Also what do they mean by the paragraph below should i be worried!!!??????? or what should i do thank you
Dear Sir,
Thank you for contacting us. The case is pending required administrative processing. Typically, this process takes at least 9 months to complete, but on occasion it does take longer. We are not able to take any further action on the case until proper authorization is received. Once this authorization is completed, a consular officer will review the case again to determine if the case is documentarily complete and to verify that none of the documents are expired. Please see the time line below for further information about the validity period of documents:- Israeli criminal register certificate: valid for one year from the date of issuance.
- Palestinian non conviction certificate: valid for six months from the date of isuance.
- DS-260: valid for one year from the date of signature.
- Medical report: valid for six months from the date of the exam.
Please check on the status of your pending immigrant visa application online by visiting the Department of State’s Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC) website.Best Wishes, -
thank you and i hope for you as well… and i don't think you should because if you do they will continue saying its under administrative process just give it time because it takes time to get out of a.p but if it passes more than month then you shall ask because I've been messaging the embassy i went to and they keep telling me its under a.p even tho its issued on CEAC but i don't know why its join through this…. but if you insets on messaging them then go ahead

how long does AP usually stay in for they took my passport tho and also said that my papers are complete they are not missing anything and my statues on ceac says issued and also i emailed them they said you will get your visa and visa packet through carrier as soon as the case is complete…. so does that mean I'm not approved?

hey everyone I have been to my interview on june 26,2015 and on july 16 my ceac statues says issued. till today (september5) I haven't received back my passport which is freaking me out making me frustrated knowing everyone gets their passport within two weeks. anyways i have contacted the american council in jerusalem, isreal where i had my interview and they told me to be patient its in final process of the case which takes up to two weeks or more its been over a month now and i have emailed them again and they said same thing again. now my question is if my ceac statues says issued does that mean my visa is approved and i will be getting a visa soon? and what should i do with my case?
-
my opinion i think you shouldn't show them that because they might think he's using you just for citizenship(papers) and for money and that your relationship isn't strong which has happened with my sis inlaw she went threw same thing she use to send him moneyy and she showed them so it was hard for him to take papers they wanted more proof as pictures phone records and they denied at end because they were strict with the fact she sends him money but if he sent it would of been diff cuz she's making papers for him not him making for her
-
thnx unico I'm just waiting on my passport to return to me its been about 70 days since my interview and still haven't received back my passport… and good luck to you too
-
unico sorry I'm just new to this and ya your right maybe because we are in diff states

hey everyone I'm new to this i don't know where to type in my question. my immigration visa (my husband filed for me papers) interview date was on june 26/2015. everything went well they told me my papers are completed and nothing is missing and they took my passport from me. On july 17 my CEAC statues said issued and visa has been printed your visa will be sent to your courier soon if we needed to contact you or anymore information you will be contacted. about a month ago i checked my statues still says same thing i emailed the us embassy in jerusalem, isreal and told them my situation and whats going on with my passport and visa and why is it taking long. They messaged me back saying your visa is in final process which takes two weeks or more once its complete we will send it to your visa courier and today its been a month since they sent me that message. my question is this normal for it to be taking this long its been 2 months and 7 days since my interview i would like to know if someone has been through with this like me or is it just me.
