  1. What is confusing?

According to you. She has never married nor convicted.

    As well as you.

    This entry states:

If the beneficiary is your fiance (True)

AND this is the 3rd or more I129F form filed ( I assume this is NOT true)...then you need a waiver (thus NOT TRUE)

You would simply leave all 4 boxes unchecked. She is NOT your spouse, you have not married if you are using a K1

Some people will not have the same English skills you apparently have.

Anyways, thank you for your help, it is appreciated. I will leave the 4 boxes unchecked then.

  2. Are you saying you are the USC petitioner and she is the beneficiary (foreigner from Egypt) is living in Florida ?

I don't know who is who. If she is here in the US, on what visa ?

K1 is for fiance's in the foreign country to enter the US.

    I'm sorry for confusing you.

She is an American citizen living in Miami. I'm an Egyptian living in Cairo.

I was just saying that I've never met her parents because they live in Texas, but they know about me and our plans.

Funny story, I actually FORGOT to send my pictures and left them on my desk at home. When I came back from the post office after mailing off the I-129F I almost had a panic attack. But we never received an RFE and everything was ok. We got our approval within 5 months from Texas.

I sent copies of Whatsapp messages that were in Spanish as well as my Rebtel phone account logs and receipts for credit I purchased to call Costa Rica. I also sent in copies of my passport with stamps as well as boarding passes proving my visits to Costa Rica.

Oops! Glad no one from USCIS gave you a hard time :)

Sorry, I don't think im "telling" the OP what to do, merely saying what I did with my process. I had no clue what and what was not needed and I did not question the attorney.

I had plane tickets, hotel receipts and tons of pictures. She must have felt it was adequate info for submission and it appears she was correct because I have no other RFE

I appreciate your response and thank you :)

  3. I sent in 7 photos with both us and 3 with family members. So maybe 10 at most. Make sure to write on the back who, what, where and when. I did not send any chat logs, texts or Facebook on the 129F submission. I know some do to begin the proof of continued relationship but is not required. I plan on having 2 documented chats a week that clearly show the date.

Thank you for your help :)

  4. Are you applying for the K1 with an already approved I-129 or has the Petition not been send to USCIS yet ?

    Please fill out your timeline.

Egypt is a difficult embassy for K1's to go through and therefore you should 'front load' the petition to USCIS with a quality

evidence package that shows the flow of your relationship from start to current through various trips, photos and communication.

The point of front loading is that the CO will have already seen the evidence before the interview and likely will already have made up

his mind and often they refuse to consider any evidence brought to the interview.

If you haven't send the petition yet, front load !

If you are waiting for the interview with an approved petition bring everything you have.

How much to send ? A lot. Everything that shows you spend time together, hotel receipts, future wedding discussions/plans after he

arrives, photos divided in the trips made, showing time with family spend. Think quality evidence that narrates your story as a couple

that met and grew in your love for each other over time.

Itemized call logs and chats, skype chats and screen shots, FB chats or whatever means you use to communicate.

From the beginning of the relationship to current and added ongoing evidence for the interview.

I would include 3-4 chats per week.

If you have hundreds of chats then choose the first page of each chat showing date/time instead of an entire conversation with 10 pages,

that will cut it down on quantity yet show how often you chat.

50-150 photos (divided into several trips if more than one visit). Read the embassy reviews and read through threads that discuss

    your embassy.

How much to submit is very embassy specific and totally different from what is needed for low fraud countries.

No the petition has not been send to the USCIS yet. I'm very happy from your recommendations.

From what I understand, I should bring ALL the photos I have with her and call logs and Skype chat logs and choose 3-4 chats per week that I had with her.

I've actually never met her parents yet, they are living in Texas while she lives here in Miami, but they know about me and know our plans though same goes to her as she never been to Egypt, but also my parents know about her and our plans.

Again thank you for your helpful insights and if you have ANYTHING extra to add, don't be embarresed to chime in :)

  5. Hey everyone,

I'm starting the K-1 process, my fiance is living in Florida.

My question is I have a lot of pictures of us and A TON of chat logs on FB chat when I was in my country. I got boarding passes, passport stamps.

I have also A TON of text messages and call logs.

How many of that should I send? I don't think I should smother them with pictures

    Thank you.
