Hello Every One.

I have a question regrading filling for Unemployment .

I came to US on fiance visa more than a year ago, and my green card interview is still pending. I was working for a company for last six months and they close last week. I want to ask you guys if i should file for unemployment insurance or not, because some peolpe say it will hurt my green card.  Please help and tell me if any one know anything about this..

I got my k1 visa approved and reached USA on 3rd June 2016. I got married to my fiance (petitioner) on 9th June 2016. Now I am trying to fill I-485 form, in which they require my current USCIS status, can someone kindly tell me what would be my current USCIS status, or where I can find my current USCIS status?

They told me that my fiance (petitioner ) should fill i-134 and in addition to that my future Father in law (co-sponsor) have to fill i-864 form

so its clear that my fiance has to fill affidavit of support, (i-134) i want to know that father of my fiance has to fill i-864 ? right ? sorry for typing in caps, i was filling out forms in caps so , i forgot to turn caps off while typing my question here. thanks for the reply. it will be nice if more people can contribute to my issue.

My fiance is unemployed , so she can not be my sponsor , her father is going to be my sponsor . he is US citizen as well. i need to know , we only need to send i-864 affidavit of support form only ? or my fiance has to fill i-134 form too.

please respond as soon as possible.

Guy i need help , i want to send USCIS affidavit to prove my ongoing relationship with my fiance , signed by family and friends ( who were present on my engagement ceremony) . can i use below affidavit ? or can some one give me another sample of Affidavit for K1 visa ongoing relationship ?

we never though this way, you are right , waiver must be for people who are not able to to meet in last two years, i will send them proof of that one meeting and i have all the communication with us . I will also send them statement why we have met only once.

we have a real situation here, its not accpetable to have physical meetings even after getting engaged , we only met on our engagement day . we have proof for that, but other than that we dont meet. do you still think i should not apply for waiver ?

I will also send my fiance passport copy of her entry in pakistan ( where i live )

I already sent them skype, whatsapp viber conversations, but its not of any use according to them.

I can get many affidavits from family and friends , but i dont have any idea about the format or anything regarding affidavits

We have received letter requesting for additional evidence of physical meeting of between me and my fiance, but we want to apply for waiver under waiver option number 2, as it against our customs and traditions to meet in person with each other , other then our day of our engagement. we have pictures for that day, but we dont meet other than that .

So is it ok to apply for waiver, or will that create issue ? i want to mention that we met online and after 8 or 9 months we told our families about this relationship and our families arranged our engagement.

By the way can anyone tell me if they also got the mail for additional evidence requirement. ??

My fiance called them, they said they have mailed us for additional proof required , that we haven't received yet. So we requested them to send the mail again. thank you every one for the help and prompt response .

I just called on that number , they said my fiance has to call them as i don't have the receipt number. so i guess we will call them tomorrow. anyways thanks alot for the help.

Thank you guys for prompt reply, i have emailed my cousin who mailed the form for us . he must have the receipt and all. can you tell me the link where i can check my status once i get my receipt number ?

Hafsa you said you will call them and ask, is that possible ? would they tell you about my application ?

Hello everyone

My fiance applied for me in july 2015, all we know is that the cheque we sent got cleared on 15th july 2015, but we haven't received any confirmation if the process has started or not. it this normal not to received confirmation for 60 days or more ?

one thing more i want to know is that , is there any official email or number where we can email/ call to ask status or any other update regarding our K-1 visa application
