Lets see here...Yes im looking at a copy of the letter that was sent to me BY the NVC the first time that they sent the petition to the embassy. It makes sense. Ok i better contact them very soon. Ill write an email tonite and call them after work tomorrow. THanks alot of the help.

I believe the case is still at USCIS.

They sent me an email on 09/01/06 explaining that they have sent an approval notice through regular mail to my house for the IMBRA RFE. So the case is still at USCIS.

Can the USCIS now send the petition back to the embassy again? Or do they first need to send me yet another letter explaining that "it will be forwarded to the proper post".

Hi everyone.......been a long time since ive been able to post.....but I've been reading up on topics from time to time. I havent been able to find out tho about an issue I am having with changing the address to which the beneficiaries packet 3 should arrive to.

My fiance has had a falling out with an aunt of hers with whom she lived during the time that we were filing her case. It doesnt seem like a good idea to have anything so important as packet 3 mailed to that address anymore. Ive been writing to the embassy in Buenos Aires, where her interview will be, asking them wether or not packet 3 will be mailed through regular Argentina national post service, or through fedex or what.

It would be much easier to be able to just keep the packet 3 at a PO box in my fiances post office. If the package is sent fedex though it will be sent right to the address of her crazy aunt, if I cant get it changed in time.

The goal is to find anyway possible to avoid having the packet 3 reach the address at which the aunt lives.

Ill update my timeline very soon.

Wel, in order to verify that what we say on the RFE is true the RFE's must be sent to the FBI right? So it seems that would havesomething to do with the delay, if it is the case.

Listen, Ive been watching everybody tear there hair out. Obviously, I wasnt delighted to be floating around in some unknown myst and haze without any clue of where or when or if the RFE would arrive or even if the USCIS has ever even heard of me.

Just concentrate on the waiting part that sucks.. I know.

Your case will be touched and reopened just like everyone elses was, out of the blue, after months of misery. Months that seem like years because we are all so damn neurotic that we are torturing ourselves.

Ive already lost my soul and heart but something keeps me going, I dont know what.

Its not usually like me to be so forward when it comes to this visa process but get a grip people. It will happen. Driving yourself nuts through every moment of it isnt going to help.

9 of the 10 cases shown here, have already been reopened, after being temporarily put on hold for the USCIS to catch up with the new IMBRA law demands.

4 of the 10 have even been recently physically handled by an immigration officer within the last 10 days.

In fact 3 of the 10 cases here have made it all the way to having had even physically recieved the NOA2 IMBRA RFE. All one the same day. These 3 petitiones were were all last touched on the 29th and 26 of June.

"Touched" means UPDATED.

When you go to the USCIS home page and sign up, filling out your case information, you then can login each day and see if the case was UPDATED.

It will say Last updated..and it will give a date. So if you check daily, you will see anytime the date changes..

What the heck Luis&Laura......I know its hard for everyone but you dont have to be so sour all the time...dont you remember what this forum is for...

So at this point these are the only 3 NOA2 cases we know of on VJ that actually have FINALLY gotten the RFE.

Each has a re-open date of 6/27 or later.

I wonder if after today we will continue seeing any more NOA1 RFE's being added to the list. If not, then we can guess that the NOA1 RFE are complete and they are now on to NOA2 which would be great.

What do you mean plain? The procedure or the actual document. The VSC IMBRA RFE is 3 pages on blue paper. If needed ill transcribe it verbatim for anyone who needs any info on it now.

Good Idea. You said that you know of 3 NOA2'ers who have recieved the IMBRA RFE? Im dying to see their NOA1 receipt dates. Mine was March 14th. Looking at the 3 dates we may be able to figure out if their is any rhyme or reason here now.

Look at my timeline. Receipt date March 14th, NOA2 completed, the case made it as far as the embassy in Buenos Aires, for packet 3, and then was sent back to NVC.

TODAY I GOT THE IMBRA RFE IN THE MAIL........................Ive just deleted a long post in where I tranbscribed verbatim the entire 1st page.

Maybe it will be better for people to just open it and see it with their own eyes, and be as elated as I am right now to have come home and found this in the mail!!!!

So, again, VSC IS SENDING OUT IMBRA RFE'S TO PEOPLE EVEN WITH RECIEPT DATES OF MARCH 14TH AND LATER!!!!!!!!!

If anyone would like to know anything that is in this document just ask. Maybe everyone already knows, because it may be exactly like the one from CSC. Point is, They are sending out RFE's already to people whos petitions were already approved, and have receipt dates passed March 6th....

My fiance also got our IMBRA RFE today. So far, I guess we have 3 cases of NOA2ers with RFE's sent out on VJ. Am I right?

Thats a good question. Id like to find out. Luis&Laura was compiling a good NOA1 RFE list. Where do we find out just by looking at timelines? Im curious to know how many NOA2'ers have gotten theres. Its a good sign. I think the NOA2 RFE floodgates will be opening for everyone now.

NOA2 IMBRA RFE'S ARE HERE!!!!!

My receipt date is March 14th, on NOA1. Ok.

I recieved the NOA2 march 30th.

MY IMBRA RFE CAME WAS IN THE MAIL TODAY!!

So, that means that either all NOA1's have been sent out and completed?? And now us NOA2'ers are finally up to bat.

Or, they are actually doing things randomly??

Im very happy tho right now!!!!! Im hoping this week and next week there will be a flood of NOA2, IMBRA RFE'S coming out. That would be very good.

Its something Ive been thinking alot about. My lost Naturalization Certificate. Im wondering if by any chance the incredible expense for replacing this document, can be avoided?

Ive been a U.S. citizen since I think 93. And have lived in the U.S since 83. Unfortunately I recently learned that my naturalization certificate has evaporated, or dematerialized in some way. Ive searched high and low.

More importantly, I contacted the Brasilian Embassy in Boston to ask if I may have left it there in 2003, when applying for a Brasilian Tourist Visa. They responded that absolutely no documents of any kind of mine were in their possession, or anywhere in the department.

I also wrote an email to the American Embassy in Buenos Aires where the interview for the K1 will be held, to ask them whether or not this Natiuralization certificate of mine was completely necessary for me to provide, seeing as how my passport itself proves my citizenship in the US, and because the naturalization document is incredibly expensive.

By the way: the fee is 165 USD and the form for a replacement is called the N-565, which can be downloaded online.

Does anyone know whether or not id have a snowflakes chance in hell of successfully completing the K1 visainterview for my fiancees visa, without the Naturalization Certificate?

Yea! Of course you can get one way!!! That is what you are there for!! To get married within 90 days~!!

The entire visa was granted in the first place based on the idea that you WOULD stay in the USA long enough to plan, and carry out and register a marriage. So, since most people wouldnt be able to tell you exactly the date which by everything would be planned and carried out, a round trip ticket probably must surprise the POE officer each time he sees one.

Touched again today. My case has been touched 4 times in about 7 days. Its still surreal because my cases had never been touched since april.

Saturday I recieved a notice in the mail explaining that the case was reopened. But, Im not sure if there is anything to get excited about yet.

I know what you mean about simply sending the RFE. Just send the damn thing. Just......send.......it.

Hey man ive been to poland a few times in the last 3 years my parents are from there and my grandparents live there. Zakopane is great!!

This week was a good one for me emotionally.

I recieved a touched 3 times, on 6/27, 6/29 and 6/30.

And today, finally, something arrived via snail mail. Another I-797 to let me know the case has been reopened.
