it has nothing to do with K1 because its visa has its rules so i see there is no wrong in that because this gonna happen for being together and settle down with other half

mine issued on 31 too .....so what message it says when u check ur visa status? does it say ur visa is in final processing ......ect

i had the interview on 27 August but didnt hear nothing yet from aramex even if i call them almost everyday.is there some one their passports still stuck at consulate too? is it normal to take that long?

yes , am sure they gave you a copy of passport and with the other paper stuck on it . and the appointment letter you gave to the lady on the window print the same and take it with you !

you will not need any confirmation , just take the 2 papers they gave you ( paper of steps + scan of your passport ) and your interview appointment paper , don't forget your id card just in case they asked

if you get to this step where they ask you for the visa fees , just ignore it and you will be registered with all of the information you submitted before this step ! it doesn't effect the informations

i chose immigrant visa but it tells me to put receipt number on bar nd i dont have that because i paied fee on cash at the consulate not through bank nd they gave me reciept but it has no receipt number just transaction number nd i tried it but it says u need a valid receipt number .so where i'll get that number from?

i think so , but did you heard him telling you ( your passport will be ready to pick up after one week from now ) ? i know it was so much thing happening in your mind in the same time and it was so hard to hear anything that man was telling you

yes he told me after one week i will have to pick it up .....i have one question while im trying to register in the website ustraveldocs i selected IV adress registration but K1 isnt listed on options they have on the page nd i have seen some ppl have same issue but they chose CR1 even if their visa class is K1 nd they could get the confirmation for picking up passport from aramex so my question is did u have same issue during registring for having schedule to pick up ur fiance passport?

i had interview few days ago nd everything went alright and the at the final of the interview the CO gave me a paper that has the information about legal rights for immigrants in the united states and other stuff plus a green paper has number phone of the consulate and the agency called aramex that will deliver my passport nd told me to register in the site to be able to pick up my passport in one week after the interview but i forgot to ask him if i was approved or not because i was so nervous Lol plus i was surprise by the way the interview went by because he was very nice guy wish every one will be interviewed by him Lol .....i just didnt hear from him i was approved bc all ppl that came out from his room holding that paper with green paper they say they were approved ....i want some one to reassure me nd if some one have questions about interview nd what was questions about im ready to answer ...

first -the number you need is printed on the visa itself to pay the visa fee

and if you have not had interview, there is no way to know it and pay

i already paied the fee on the day of my interview but after interview they gave me a paper showing the steps to be registerred to schedule appointment in the site of ustraveldocs.com to get the transaction confirmation for picking up my passport from aramex office after i filled it out with some information but the problem my class visa is K1 nd i couldnt find it on the listed options they have on the page nd i found out many ppl went through same issue so i just chose CR1 then i put my information then it didnt ask for receipt number just case number so i got the confirmation nd printed it out even if it says class visa is CR1 while mine is K1 bc i ve seen ppl did it but in the end i dont know why they put ppl in too much confusion after they went through too much stress of application

I'm guessing everything should be ok since you choose the pickup place before they request you to enter that "receipt number"

my final advice if none of the above works, is to call them at 08920 99999, they have been very helpful in the past.

i did try the transaction number but didnt work too they keep asking for a valid receipt number .......did you go through this after ur K1 was approved after the interview?

after i paied i got only a receipt which has only transaction number ....so u think receipt number is the number of the transaction ? plz some one explain this to me bc i have to register so i can have right to track my passport nd pick it up through aramex
