Thanks for the responses, Boiler & RhettVoe.

MD Anderson Cancer Center provided a letter which "has worked thousands of times".

We were able to get a new B1/B2 from the U.S. Consulate in Matamoros and my wife was allowed to enter the U.S.. I had the letter from MD Anderson on June 5, and the new Visa on June 25.

If anyone would like to know more about my experience, I will be more than happy to answer any questions.

Congratulations to you and your wife.

Yes, I would love to have the opportunity to know more about your experience as I am now needing to file a Humanitarian Parole, so I can reenter the US. I have a Vawa pending (after a RFE received last Decenber no news) but I now given a family situation I see no other way but to go with a HP. One of my questions is can I do it alone or do I have to hire an Attorney, and which form do I use since there were a few options on the official USCIS site.
