If they don't meet the requirement, yes get a new joint sponsor, no issue.

180 days, or legally a temporary stay. Info: http://lawandborder.com/risk-abandoning-green-card-abroad-6-months/

Not knowing what the Australian visa is I don't know how to answer. You can't stay in Australia for a year on a conditional green card, a green card is for you to live in the US, not to reside in other countries. On a conditional green card I believe it's 6 months that is the limit of how long you're allowed to stay out of the US at a time without having the US consider your permanent residence status abandoned. If you want to live in Australia for a year and then the US why don't you go with a K1 or CR1 after you've been to Australia and plan to live in the US?

Answer above is correct, I misunderstood who was the petitioner/beneficiary, apologies.

He is not a dependent on I-864 if he is not a dependent on his tax return.

You can either contact them and ask for evidence that you are covered in his health insurance or ask your husbands employer for evidence that they added you. Been in a similar situation with dental insurance

2014, 2013, 2012. You could wait until last year is done if you wanted to of course but no need.
-
I would probably include an explanation just to be safe but I think the most important thing is just to disclose it on the forms and send the evidence, it seems like they would ask at the interview if they have questions about it. Good luck!

I did go through the legal change and no except for being asked why I changed it I never sent papers or anything on it. Just stated my old name under "other names used" or whatever it is on the forms. And didn't get a RFE. But like I say the instructions say you need proof of legal name change if any documents you submit are in your old name, and mine weren't. If yours are I'd send the papers (translated if needed) with the AOS application.

I'm from Sweden and we don't have birth certificates, just a population registry.. So my name was updated there when I changed it. I did not send any evidence of name change and wasn't asked for it, and yes I stated my old name on all forms. The consulate when I first applied for a visa asked me why I changed my name but not for any papers.

I would always go with honesty. If you forgot to mention it that's one thing but deciding not to now is lying to the government. Hopefully since you're the one disclosing the information they wouldn't take it as you were trying to hide it from them of you wouldn't tell them now. You can attach a separate sheet explaining the situation if you want But you wouldn't want them finding out some other way.

No. You receive your combo card (EAD and AP) within 90 days of filing generally, and the interview can be shortly or months after that. Basically EAD and AP are permits you have WHILE waiting for AOS to be processed.

-
My guess is you'll either get a second interview or approval. Keep checking your case status.
-
Well AOS won't likely be done in 90 days but people frequently get their AP approved within that. Yes it needs to be a certified copy.

As far as I know only tax returns are required. Other things like employer letter, pay stubs, bank statements can be used as supporting evidence if you feel it would help you prove your income.
-
-
Yea bring pay stubs and bank statements as supplemental evidence.

I would guess you'll be given an RFE at the interview for a new medical, so just send it in once it's completed. And explain the situation at the interview

Can someone please educate me about form i-130, Petition for alien relative. I did not send an I-130 form with my application.
No need since you're adjusting from a k1

AOS sent on the 23rd, got NOA1 (electronic) and check cashed on 28th!!
Best regards to everyone <3
Will I need another medical done?

I was about a month past that one year mark at the time of approval and wasn't given an RFE or even asked about it.
