  1. This is probably a dumb question, but do we still check our case status on ceac.state.gov? Our status says "ready" and the blurb below it says "ready for interview..." But the last update was today (our interview was yesterday). Is this what others have experience Too?

  2. This was the same for us at Lagos in Nigeria.I called an got my information to start right away. So it's very beneficial to scheduling an earlier intervew date. The interview days get booked up and they only offer so many in a months time. This insure you of getting a day scheduled as close as possible to what your needs are. As we had to scheduled at less 6 weeks away from our police clearance allowing 6 weeks from Israel to arrive at the embassy. This way if it doesn't no hold on our side as we did what was asked of us. So no delay would acure. We was APPROVED on the 8th of this month.

  3. Perfectly normal to have nerves about things that we don't have control over. That's why it's called nerves. To worry about someone's opinion of you that can stop you from living your life like you want to is enough to make everyone nervous and wonder what the outcome would be. My fiance's interview is coming up shortly and I'm in the air not knowing trying to have the faith it will be ok I know in the end it's going to be ok no matter what but it's just a time frame that I worry about because if this don't go through we will still Press On and one day it'll happen but we rather for it to happen now and this is where the nerves come in I wish everyone love peace and happiness as they travel through this journey

  4. Hi every one its been a little while since I posted. So decided to catchup everyone. My Fiance had his medical and our date for interview is aroumd the corner. He said that at medical he was asked where he was going and if he had been there before. When he said Florida the doctor said they have nice weather there. Thats all. I see people are concern with doctors motives. I think they just want to know is all.Happy to see everyone moving along just fine

  5. On my letter of how we meet I explaned that I was going through a Divorce and even though he ask me to marrie him we could not officially get engaged with a ring until the marriage was final. We decided it wouldn't be right. So no ring on finger. Not until divorce shows respect of the fact that I wasn't free to really do so. Then car accident broken hand a shoulder so still no ring on finger swolling. So if they ask when did we get engage he will repeat this to them

  8. It takes so long for packages to arrive in Nigeria. He says he still has not received the first one I sent and I sent it exactly 10 days ago. But I'm going to send this current one anyway and hope for the best.
