  1. Hello All,

The reason I am posting in the K1 forum is because I do not know where this topic should go. My wife and I went through the K1 process and have moved to the US. We were wondering what is the specific visa used to bring over her mother, father, brother and sister to the US? We still aren't sure if her family will want to stay and live with us in the US, but we were hoping that we could do some family union visa (if such a thing exists) so that her family can come visit whenever they want. We are planning on having kids in a few years and we want her family to be over to fly to the US without any problems, visa delays, etc.

Hopefully somebody can direct me to the right forum! Thank you for your help in advance!

  2. It varies, but a good estimate is two weeks for each step. My consulate got my file in 24 days after NOA2, but obviously it may be a bit longer or a bit shorter for yours.

Our petition took exactly one month from NOA2 to reach the embassy in Ankara. However, it's been almost a month since then and still no interview dates are available...so much for this process getting easier after NOA2 :crying:

We received our NOA2 on August 28, 2015; it reached the NVC on September 03 (9 days) and the consulate received it on September 11 (17 days after NOA2)

Thanks for the heads up everyone. I guess I prematurely began celebrating getting the NOA2 in thinking everything would be rapid pace form now on. Looks like we still have some obstacles ahead. Hopefully everything will go smoothly in the coming days!

  3. How long does it take for the Texas Service center to send out the NOA2 paper work to the NVC? and then how long does it take before the foreign embassy receives the NVC paperwork?

  4. I wish i could give positive news. But atleast you can know that your not alone. I am so frustrated about the situation. I see people that have recieved their 1st response in June (at TSC) that have already got interview. #######. They messed my dates up to. I have March 17th, but it shows March 23rd. I will be so happy when this is all over. I was planning for her to be with me for Christmas, but I am thinking maybe February or March 2016. I think 1 year is too long to wait. They need take a look at what is wrong and fix it.

I'm right there with you. I sent mine in on the 13th and got approved the 23rd. Stupid Igors list keeps changing when I should have heard the NOA2...went from october 2015 to july 2015.....yes, it went backwards in time.....typical.

But, I did see on other feeds that say TSC is moving along (whatever that means) and more march filers have been accepted.

I will never understand how some people i know personally sent their NOA1 and received an NOA2 in 2-4 months (multiple people). I guess its just the luck of the draw to be honest.

  5. Embassy fee - paid at the bank, paid in gryvnas

Medical -- paid at the health center, however bring more than $265(paid in dollars I believe, but please check the site), as they may require additional tests/shots, which are additional fee. (so bring about $350 just in case)

    Awesome thanks for the info.

so just to get it clear, the medical fee is 265 ( I checked the site and its in gryvs)

and what is the exact embassy fee amount that we need to pay?

  6. Hello Everyone,

Can someone please tell me where to submit the diversity visa application or direct me to a forum feed that discusses this information? There are a lot of fraudulent websites that just steal peoples money here in Ukraine. I am looking for a safe lottery submission website so that my family members can put in their applications for the lottery.

hopefully yall can help! Thanks a lot!

  7. Fee amounts: http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ua/ua-niv-visafeeinfo.asp

The forms: http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ua/ua-niv-paymentinfo.asp (look under Fee payment options)

Bank locations: http://www.aval.ua/en/finlokator/(Important: have your fiancee call the branch she wants to visit, to confirm that they accept Embassy payments, as not all branches do)

Thank you so much!!!! This is great help!!

I also was wondering are the any other fees that we have to pay to the embassy besides the 265 medical fee??

  8. Hello Everyone!

I have a few questions and hopefully someone can help!

What vaccinations should my fiance have proof/documentation of? Tuberculosis? Chicken Pox? AIDS/HIV? Scarlet fever?

What is the kyiv medical exam like?

    How much does it cost?

    Where is it located?

Thank you for your help everyone!!

  9. Hello Everyone!

I have a friend who applied for the K1 visa 10 days ago and just got a response from USCIS that their information has been looked over and is being sent to the Kyiv Embassy for review......is this possible? She was denied a tourist visa about 6 months ago and applied much later than the rest of us for the fiance visa.......is USCIS sending over the info to Kyiv this quick so that they can be denied the K1 visa instead of waiting months? OR do you think that this is legitimate and that after 10 days, they had their case reviewed and sent to the embassy....Doesn't seem possible, right?

  10. Most embassy's have what's called a "Embassy Letter" which outlines the required documents and some other protocol items that are used by your countries specific processing. For your Embassy it can be found here. http://photos.state.gov/libraries/ukraine/895/pdf/K_Instructions_001.pdf

Follow what is in the letter and you shouldn't have any problems at your interview.

As to address your question about the I-134, it is needed for the interview BUT some Embassy's (I am familiar with The Philippines Embassy and they are not asking for it but in the "letter" they say it may be asked of the beneficiary during the interview) are no longer asking for it. Yours still may so be needed so I recommend that you prepare it in the event the CO ask for it.

Thank you so much for the response! Very helpful!
