I filed joint on August 27, 2018. Got separated on December 14, 2018. After the separation l update my case with a waiver on June 10, 2019. I received a notice for biometric on June 14.
On August 27, 2019 l got a rfe to summit a divorce decree which l did because my divorce was finalized on August 19, 2019. I got my interview on Nevember 21, 2019. I was asked a couple of questions from our joint filing documents, and was also asked questions like how we met, where we first met, where and where we got married, how many people were at the marriage ceremony, and issues that led to our separation. After l answered and told my story the officer told me she has all she need and does not need anything more from me so she is going to request for my approval. I said thank you and left for home. That night l checked my status and seen that it has change to New Card is being Produced. Two days later it changed again to Case is approved and finally in another two days it changed to New Card has been Mailed. All l did was to read comments from this site and not only depend on my lawyer and this helped me right from l130 to l751 and am very grateful to Almighty for a successful process.
