  2. Aslamo alikom Jean,

first of all i would like to express my happiness with you and mohamed, and i can assure you from a practical prospective that inshallah Mohamd will get his visa, INSHALLAH, its just a matter of time.

me and my wife feelings were the same like you right now when the embassy called me one day in April 2006, and asked for fingerprints. although they told us before this that my adiministraive check has done.

and then i took appointment and they took my fingerprints, and after 3 weeks they clreared it. Once my prints were clreared, they put my case back in another adminsitrative checkm because they said that the first once was expired. 2 months later, i got my visa allhmdulelah, all of a sudden i got a call from my home that there is a TNT guy by the door having my passport. The embassy didn't call or the TNT , just they went to my home with the passport, and allhmdulelah i got it. So inshallah, i hope it will be the same like or less inshallah.

best luck for you and your husband and good american people (including my wife...lol)

    salaam

  3. Aslamo alikom all,

thanks for your replys. I wish all of you the best in your life.

Just_waiting, guess what?. the embassy didn't contact me at all, or even TNT. I just got a call from my brother that there are the TNT guy at the door, giving him somepapers and a passport!!!!,

my brother didn't realize anything yet!!

I went home back from work soon, and allhmdulelah i got the visa!

    salaam

  4. Well, I finally got my visa but there are some problems. First of all, the visa is only valid until the end of November. They told me it would be valid for 6 months but it is only 3-4. Also, since it took so long my wife will deliver her baby here in Egypt and we don't know what will happen for citizenship and travel restrictions plus she just signed a contract for work here since we had no news. I'm worried the visa will expire and then we will have to go through this process all over again. Any advise?

Today America celeberates Independence day. Fireworks, festivals, baseball and more are most of the plans for Independence Day there and of course long weekend.

Egyptians are saying Happy Independence day, and me personally are feeling happy this day. although i am not american, and i didn't even get my visa even, but i don't know why its feels special today, and i felt like sharing the happiness with all my american friends, and of course my wife.Oh, maybe i think its becuase its for sure they will launch the Discovery shuttle, i wish i were there to attend it.maybe my happiness is for both of the celebration and the shuttle launch. I am just happy...lol

  6. aslamo alikom my brothers/sisters,

horus_gal, i think you can ask for passport, and whenever they are done with the secuirty checks, they will call your finance and ask him to send his passport again, and you can email the embassy, they reply within 3 days.

And it seems to be like im in the same boat with you, i have my fiance visa interview at Feb 7th, 2006.And my case now undergo another administrative check, but this time with other agencies.

    good luck

  7. Hi Jabree,

for the interview of your finace, inshallah it will goes well, mine was good, i believe most of consulars are nice people. Just be prepared. Have him take everything can prove your relationship , like photos, phone records, chats, etc. ASK YOUR EGYPTIAN FIANCEE TO REPLY ONLY FOR WHAT HE ASKED FOR, there is no needs for donation with more information, consulars, i believe, don't like talkative people, they know what they need to know and they are asking for it.Of course he should CAREFULLY get every single paper they asked for , because i forgot to bring they the birth certificate, but they were nice allhmdulelah, and didn't cancel my interview appointment. Tell Hitham to have confidence that everything will goes fine. Only its little hot in the embassy, so he have to take it.

i wish you the best, and i ask you for prayers to get my visa, its now have been 5 months, and no news.

    good luck

  8. HI ALL

After i finsihed the first AP at washington DC, the embassy in egypt asked for my fingerprints, then after they got it cleared, they put my case back into AP again. My wife sent them inquiry few days ago, and this is the reply:

    Dear Madam

Thank you for your e-mail message.

Mr. ME's case is currently pending a mandatory administrative

check conducted at the Department of State and other federal agencies.

We are unable to process his case any further until this check is

    completed.

    Regards,

    Consular Staff

so the question is what does they mean by 'other agencies'. I don't understand?, does this mean that my case will take infinite time to be done!!!

  9. Thanks for replying, my wife is in egypt, and she is preganant, i am really scared from her to deliver in egypt, i am not sure of the level of health care in egypt and if she is used to it or not. I wanted really her to deliver in usa, and of course while we are togther. but sorry, its seems to be like we are trapped in non-ended situation!!! <<< hopefully not of course>>. I don't know why i am so optimistic that it may ends soon, since that the previous AP has finished within about 50 days, and the embassy told me at last email that they start it again at 10th of may. So based on the previous AP, maybe the another AP will finish inshallah by the end of June.

and i have the feeling that both of us will get the visa at the same time inshallah!

Sometimes i get the feeling that embassy in egypt want to annoy us. But some of their nice emails that they are telling me that my case has finished and that the visa will be issue soon, give me the feeling that they are doing their best in this stuff. but its the procedures onyl that stops them from issuing. You will wonder if i told you that there is a consul <woman> that in US embassy in egypt that is EXTREMELY NICE, she conducted my interview for me, I really have never found someone like her helpful and cheerful and kind. Luck who will have his interview with her!

hopefully all this will end soon!!!

    ya rab!!

  10. Hi all,

if you all know about the Aymerlu's her husband visa case, Then I am on the same boat like them, the embassy sent me and my wife emails telling us that the visa will be issued, and then they put it back to AP, as I read the posts of Aymerlu, i found out that its the same emails, and almost the same date of interview, and guess what, the same email from my wife's congressman, which state that we put back in the AP after already a similar one has been conducted and finished, due to the more updated information to the class system has been added!!

    so please help me

my interview was sucess at 10th of February, 2006

the first finished AP was at 29 of mars, 2006,

and the rest is the same like Aymerlu's case

please help find out what is going on,

i have the feeling that if me or Aymerlu's husband, get the visa, then the other will get it too.
