  1. On December 1st a RFE was requested. The RFE was sent Feb 22, 2017 and my husband's waiver was approved on march 7th (it was the best birthday gift ever!!). US embassy in Delhi received all the documents on march 14th. Medical and Police clearance done on March 24th. Interview was scheduled for April 3rd, 2017 and visa was approved:) Picked up his visa on april 6th and reached US on April 7th :). I though I should give you guys an update since I have been really busy! Thanks for all the hope and I do pray for other people. If someone needs a good lawyer, I could suggest mine.

  2. Oh wow, that sucks to hear. Hope you guys get approve soon. They got our i601 on July 28 and I too got screwed over by a lawyer. Been in the USA since the age of 2 and i am currently 30. Been in California 28 years and never committed a crime, paid taxes and etc. Lawyer never informed us that we had to pay the pardoned. So i basically deported myself in other words.

I hate my lawyer also he is of no use

  3. Thanks everybody for the congratulations and well wishes.

We filed our 601 wavier in March 2016....but....we had filed a 601A wavier long before that which was approved also. Please see post above dated 18 October 2016 that way I don't repeat myself and waste space on the thread. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask :)

I will definitely continue to pray for everyone and your families...God bless you!

    Joy

Omg I am so excited for you guys and I cant wait for a decision on our case because we filed on March 3rd.

  4. Hi everyone!

Just wanted to give an update...our case was updated on USICS.gov this afternoon...my husband's 601 wavier was approved on 10/24/16. Yes! Finally! Now we wait for the Consulate to receive the approval from USICS, and the letter that "gives instructions" (hopefully we won't have to go back to Juarez for another interview...fingers crossed). I will keep you all posted. Hang in there! I am praying for you and your families )

    Joy

    Congratulations!!!!

I am so happy for you guys

When did you file if you dont mind sharing?

  5. On 25 august 2016 my waiver is denied by USCIS as I check on their site , they sent me the notice of decision. Now I am 90 percent dead seeing this. I don't know the reason yet why they denied I all check. Now seriously what to do now ???? Guys

do you mind me asking when did you file your waiver? and what was it for? Because I have filed a 601 waiver for my husband also. If you feel comfortable you can reply me in private messages. Please it would really help

The group is for i601a waiver so probably won't be helpful for u

And I think there is no group for 601 waivers.

  6. I understand your fear and frustration but first of all: Did you file the 601 already, Do you have a lawyer?

This process is though and you need to be strong to help your husband. Take it one day at the time. Without thinking too much about the approval.

Do what you need to do to make it better and work with your attorney gathering all the evidences and preparing your file.

    Be strong ?

I did file it already its been 6 months and yes I have a lawyer whom I hate so much because when I asked him to expedite for my case he literally read my words as"suing the government" and I was like what the heck is wrong with you I am telling you to request for an expedite not suing the government. My lawyer is just getting one my nerves because he doesnt reply to emails or phone calls and I have paid him 5000 its not like he is working at no cost for me. I dont understand why show me the attitude. I just want a normal life without thinking about all this. When I think about everything it feels like I will never get a normal life.

    FINALLY!!!!!!!!!

After almost 11 months of waiting, my wife's I-601 was approved last night!!

    We are so happy!!!

Thank you everyone for your support!

I am so happy for you! when did you file for her waiver?

  8. Batthdev,I know what you saying.I have days that I dont want to go on,things happening to me and around me and I cant do anything about it. I am held captive. 4 times my surgery had to cancel, condition getting worst. The doctor give me one more chance for Aug, this was mention in my RFE rec June 9th upon till now no response. We had to call them Wed,and the lady send in an expedite request. I am always afraid to contact them as it might slow things even more, she say no, so we sent in the request.

I hope everything turns out right for you.

Issued! Within a week we went from refused to issued. Surreal.

Congrats! I am so happy for you

  9. You have to keep busy and try not to focus on the waiver so much. I know it's very difficult. Believe me ours took 10 months. I know just how you feel. You have to find somethings to do to keep your mind off it and pass the days.

    Here are somethings I did:

    Took a few yoga classes

    Visited friends and family

    Traveled to see him

Found some free events in my community to attend; art show, festival, etc

    Cleaned out my basement

    Worked extra shifts at work

Then shopped with my extra $$ lol

Find something that interests you reading etc.

I know I am working two jobs. I did travel to see him but only got to see him for 14 days because of my job. I dont feel like getting out from my bed.

  10. My husband's interview was at New Delhi us embassy and he was given white 221g form and was asked to submit proof of arrest while he was in Australia but he was never arrested when he was in Australia. His PCC is clear. Need help please someone help me. What to do? I asked the Australian federal police they said they don't have any record of him being arrested. What documents should I submit?

  12. Thank you everyone for the information:) means a lot. Nov sounds so long I wish it could be earlier. I already have a case number and I do check it online on ceac site. I call Nvc almost once week or so but all they say is that I will have to wait because they are waiting for the consulate's instructions. ? is it Nvc that schedules interview date or U.S. embassy over in India does?
