  1. Hong has form DS-3025 ,Exam date March,21,2006 , I called 2 doctors offices ,1 is to busy to see immigration people, the next told me the form DS-3025 is good for only 3 months. I thought this was good for 1 year. Anyone have an answer or a link showing me the correct information about this ?

    THANKS

    Mark

I am not sure what her medical exam was in Vietnam,I only see a vaccination & immunization in our records. I am confused ??

    Thanks again

  2. If your fiance is entering the U.S. and activating her K-1 Visa, then intends to marry within 90 days and apply for AOS, she does not need a round trip ticket.

A lot of people just buy a round-trip ticket, rather than a one-way ticket, because it can be cheaper to do it that way.

Your one-way ticket will be just fine.

    Best wishes.

THANK YOU raymaga =My attorney just confirmed this also,I rest easy now THANK YOU

  3. My fiancee is flying out of Vietnam on Thursday,I bought a one way ticket thinking that is all I needed.

I heard after the fact that she needs a round trip ticket to enter the U.S. = in case we don't get married.

What a pile of #######,I spent a 2 years on this and now I might need another f#$@ing plane ticket.

Anyone come thru San Francisco , is a round trip ticket needed for Hong to enter ?

Can I buy another 1 way for her to show customs, that she has a way back if we don't marry??

If I buy another 1 way I can buy it 2 -1/2 months out and save some cash if it is non-refundable.

If I can get a refundable ticket I can just cancel it after she gets here, and only have to waste $50.00.

    ANY IDEAS ??

Anyone know who I need to call to verify this ? and a phone number.

    THANKS IN ADVANCE

  4. My fiancee made the interview, got rejected for lack of a form from the IRS .I sent form to her in a weeks time. She walked backed in the Consulate, turned in required tax paper( transcript ) at window ( they then did her fingerprints.NOW the kicker ??she was told maybe 1 week, maybe 2,maybe 3,maybe 4.

Fingerprints need to be sent to the United states for ???

Anyone have any idea about this situtation??

Is it common to send prints to the states ?

Where do I e-mail or ask about her case ??

And before she leaves Vietnam is there any papers I should Hong gather to make this process go better onces she arrives??

    Thanks

  5. Yes, I am VERY nervous about that. I have even thought about bringing it back with me to be safe. But how do I tell her that? Touchy subject.

I will be there from May 12 to 26.

I bought a diamond in the states took it to Ho Ch iMinh in my back pack no problems.

Hong took us to a jewerly store and bought the ring so there was no issues with the size.

I also had a ring given to me by her young sister,we went to the store and was able to go to the back of the store to watch the gentleman resize it to fit my finger.

TOTAL COST .80 cents WOW this would neved happen in the states.

Anyone else going to Vietnam I can vouch for a friendly hotel, and trustworthy staff.

  7. OK up date, Hong received my (1722 ) tax transcript on April 28th,she went back to the US Consulate ,turned in the paperwork, they accepted the paper.

They gave her a paper saying they now need her fingerprints=$85.00

She will do this next week, she is going to her home town to have a small party with her family. I am thinking she will receive visa next week.

Well, we all wish you luck! Question for you:

    Did you use a co-sponsor?

    no co-sponsor

  8. Hong had interview, passed oral test, they want a paper 1722 (yes 1722 ) showing transcript for 2005 taxes, I have filled form 4506-T this is to obtain the 1722 letter according to my instructions.

Only problem is these are not ready yet since it is so close after tax season.

What am I supposed to show or what else will satisfy the US Consulate Gereral ???? I have made copies of all my 2005 pay check stubs and 2006 up to last week. Will these work along with a letter stating why I am unable to obtain the information requested.

    Thanks all

  9. I am embarressd to post time but my fiancee is here from Bogota and think here under false pretenses. I suspected something was up so I installed a software on my computer to track email and messenger. She is professing her love to someone and making plans to flee in the country. If I book here a return flight to Bogota do I need to escort her home. The flight has a connection in Houston. If her plan is to flee she could run at the airport or never make the connection in Houston is flying by herself. I can not belive this is happening but what is my responsibilty to make sure she leaves the country? Wow a almost a year to get a visa, and one week to find out it is all bogus.

    Thanks for your help/advice :help:

    Robert

Robert I was wondering what made you think something was up in the first place.

Sorry things look bad,but you never really know why people do the things they do.

Better to find out now I guess then later.

  10. He didn't say in this posting that the consulate requested additional evidence of their relationship but my man states here that he didn't provide pictures "with the person"

Sorry Daleqq didn't think I would confuse some, guess you were one of them. I only had to provide more information on my income. I have transcripts in hand now, took 7 days to arrive, will send out today by FEDEX

About the pictures ,we did have engagement pictures , but Hong did not have any of us in the gereral public taken together. This didn't seem to pose a problem in the interview for Hong.

  11. Thanks for the advice.

I am now checking for airfare for Hong.

Mark, I don't mean to alarm you, and frankly I admire your confidence here, but why are you under the impression that once you provide these transcripts that your fiance will be instantly given her visa? If you check the postings of others who have been given blue slips and have been asked to provide the exact same thing you have to the HCMC consulate, it is months before their case is re-reviewed, and yet you are already planning on plane tickets and filing AOS.

Did they tell you specifically that your case is going to be different? Really, I hope it does go this easy for you.

NOT INSTANTLY ,I am guessing with in a few days

Because it seems to be if you pay a little money things go faster in Vietnam,

Kinda like things go better with coke.

When you pay a few dollars your paper work does not go to the bottom of the stack=just the way it is !

  12. Don't you have copies of the tax returns that you filed? I provided unsigned copies of my returns and they were OK. (unsigned because they were filed electronically.) Good Luck

My lawyer sent my taxes for 2003,2004,2005 & transcripts for only 2003,2004,

Now US Consulate wants transcript for IRS from 2005 =

I think I have this covered now=Waiting for snail mail to drop off.

    Thanks for the advice.

I am now checking for airfare for Hong.

  13. Please disclose all types of documents that are needed to prove an established ongoing relationship for a K-1 visa.

Phone bills in your name, money sent ,letters or e-mail,or yahoo chat ,visit to the person, boarding passes, pictures with the person ( i didn't do this ) packages sent ( keep all postal receipts )

    LOTS OF TIME

Where in Texas are you? = Northwest Houston here

  16. Hi, i have my interview in London on May 5th 2006, i was just reading another thread about tax returns and would like a quick confirmation on a question that wasnt fully answered, and is worrying me.

    here goes,

are copies of tax returns required from my fiance (the petitioner) for the interview if you are not self employed?

My fiance is sending me a letter from her bank aswell as a letter from her employer with the affidavit of support, is this sufficient?

    thanks in advance.

    alastair

    :)

My Fiancee just did an interview on April 19th,did good but was told I need to provide 1722 information

for tax year 2005.Working on that now, delays delays delays.

  17. Hello to all of you.

Can someone give me a little :help:

I just ran across your site but surfing ,looking for information on this 1722 form requested by interview person in Ho Chi Minh City ( Hong did good in interview but needs 1722 ). Seems I need to do form 4506-T to get the information needed ( 1722 ) I have faxed it in,called on phone and talked to a live person, called on phone and punched the numbers in the phone to get this information.I have it coming from 3 directions. Now the question is will I receive complete transcript or what ??I need to show offical proof as to my income for the year of 2005.

Next question is what will my fiancee need to bring with her to make (i guess AOS ) go more smoothly once she arrives in the states.I have her getting copies of birth and having them translated into english, what else ?? What comes in this Visa package given at the US Consulate General ??

I will try to fill in any blanks if anyone has questions or advice.

I used a lawyer to do the paper work up to this point, but I will try the rest on my own.He flat out lied to me saying he would coach Hong on the interview process, well he never called so now I know of one useless lawyer I will not use anymore.I will save his statement as proof of what he stated but did not do.

Thanks in advance for any information and advice.I will be reading much here now.
