Hello Guys,

I got 2 queries;

1.The status of my application as of Feb 2 has been the same " Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview". Now my question is how long would it take them for me to get an interview?

2. My AED application status is still the same as of Dec. 7 " Case was received" and it's almost 90 days yet the status doesn't changed.

Anybody know's how to make a :Service Request Online" ? I tried calling the USCIS customer service request - 1 800 375 5282 but I got no luck with it. Hope you guys can help me and enlighten my mind.

@ neoblast, it will be 90th day this March 8. Can you help me how to do service request online? My status for change of citizenship as of Feb 2 has been the same " case is ready to be scheduled for interview"its almost a month now yet theres no movement on that.Same as with my AED "case was received" its been like that since the time they received my application. I know that I need to wait, but why it takes too long?

Thanks Pitaya and McLez, till now the status of my AED is still "received" . Aside from waiting, is there anything I can do to get it asap?

So as of Feb 2, as per USCIS site my case is now ready to be interviewed.They'll send the schedule through mail. Now my question is how long for them to send that interview schedule? And another one is until now my Work Authorization is still " received" status in the USCIS site. Any inputs are much appreciated.

@ Darnell, thanks for the suggestions I appreciate it. Hank is absolutely right, it's not about money, I need an income. Because I have personal needs and wants as well that I don't want to depend on my spouse. Hahaha

@ newacct, I submitted my EAD together with my AOS.Hopefully I'll be getting my EAD asap coz I badly need to work,Hahaha

Hahaha,thanks guys. I just need more patience now. I really wanted to work coz I've been here in AZ for 4 months now. I can't work till I got my AOS approved or the work authorization.

My AOS application takes longer than I expected. I sent my documents 1st week of Dec. & had my bio the 4th week.Till now the status is still in process.Any experiences similar to mine?

@ aleful, Thanks..I got my SSN few months back. Now I'm waiting for the authorization for work. I thought if its part time they won't need that thing.

I submitted my change of status first week of December. So now, I want to work part time, my question is do the employer needs my authorization for work even though its only a part time?

@ greenbaum and iammrsregie, you guys are awesome :) .Thank you very much. Your thoughts helped me a lot to ease my pain. So, since it would take a little time, then maybe I can work part time first since I don't have my authorization to work. Do you think its lawful to do such thing?

This is a nerve-racking time for me. My Visa expires on December 22, and I just submitted my AOS application last Dec. 2 via priority mail, now my questions are, how long would it take me getting the approval of my AOS? And in the worst scenario, what will happen if my papers are still in process and my Visa is already due?

I would really appreciate your thoughts on these matter.

I'm sending my documents to USCIS for my change of status, now my concern is " should I put the forms like I-485,I-765,I-131 and I-864 in separate envelopes or folders together with their specific requirements? or it's okay to put everything in one folder?

Ohhhh, I really thought I need to pay the I-131 and I-765, Coz what I'm doing is checking every forms with respected filling fees. That's why I was shocked on this amount.

So I'm in the process of filling my AOS, I-131, and I-765 , I just found out that I got a lot of payments to do. AOS- $ 1070 , I-131 $360 and I-765 $380. I know that AOS and EAD is important.Is this even real? Plenty of payments to pay?

So,I checked the USCIS site on the needed documents that I need to submit for my AOS. I was amazed that the fee for AOS is $ 1,070. LOL
