  1. You are not alone. I actually filed on Aug 6,2015 and my status stay at ready for schedule for an interview since Sep3,2015. Nothing has change. In this group they are alot of K1 visa thats why they get their GC fast and some might get an interview waived. Accoring to your location (Iowa) you should hear something soon. I just check the processing time and you almost there. Last updated 3 months ago so if we add 3 months into time frame they should be working on June-July filers now. Good luck. My state will take me a while :crying:

  3. Hello there,

I was wondering if you guys could help me figure out when I'll be receiving my EAD card in the mail?

The USCIS Case Tracker says : "On August 24, 2015, we approved your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization , Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxxx. We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

The company I'm supposed to start working for wants me to start on Monday (8/31). They have also said that they won't be able to work with just the approval - they will need to see the actual card.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    My AOS EAD timeline

    Date Filed : 2015-07-01

    NOA Date : 2015-07-06

    Bio. Appt. : 2015-07-31

    Approved Date : 2015-08-24

Estimates/Stats : Your EAD was approved in 54 days.

    My EAD Expedite "Experience"

Also, for those who are interested, I successfully got my EAD expedited. Here are the steps I followed :-

    a) Got the offer letter from company stating Start Date, and asking to provide Proof of Employability on the start day

    b) Called USCIS - placed Expedite Request stating Severe Financial Loss and Extreme Urgency. Told them about the Offer, and how the job would help us financially since we're a new family. Also stated that the number of opportunities in my city are limited, and offers like these are hard to come by. Officer gave me Service Request Number. (8/17)

    c) Got letter in mail 3 days later from USCIS asking for proof of offer. Faxed that over, with a cover letter stating financial difficulties .. Worded it in such a manner that we needed the job to help the "family grow". (8/20)

    d) Called the Senator's office - requested help in the case. Faxed over offer letter, explanation, and service request number. Got a reply from their office saying USCIS is working on the expedite and they have pushed for a quick approval.

    e) A week from when I called USCIS, I got the Approval update on Case Tracker. (8/24)

I hope this helps you guys! :)

Hello! i just like to know if you got your interview date yet? i have also filed in Des Monies.

  4. So happy..just got an update on my EAD 65 days after filing.

"On October 21, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSC1591552***, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go towww.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address".

Am so happy that I'm going to get it soon..seems my RFE dint delay my case because my I-485 is ready to be scheduled for interview.

    Congrats!! :)

Pretty much all august filers have there EAD approved.. Now INTERVIEW!! i hope we get scheduled soon.. finger crossed

  5. CONGRATS!!!!! Thanks for letting us know that you didn't get an email or text. That's good to know!

So exciting seeing all this progress! Congratulations! :)

Really hope my EAD won't be too delayed by our AOS RFE... I so want to work now!

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Such great news to see the updates today! It appears that the earlier August filers are seeing their EAD so I'm praying that's a good sign that the later August filers (me) will be receiving theirs VERY soon. My case status still has not changed so still waiting.....not very patiently. :clock:

    Congrats!!

    Congrats!!

Thank you my fellow August Filers.. I pray we all get done with this process soon so we can have a dream life we have always dreamed off.. you are my strength :)

  6. Well i did contacted my local congressman today about my EAD. i have a job lined up but i will loose it if i don't get EAD approved soon. my wife and i did mention about our financial hardship to him and he said he will see what he can do.. he asked me to fax him my three NOA and a consent form. he emailed me a consesnt form to sign and asked me to fax it back to him.. so i did filled out and faxed him.. lets see if he can do something about it..

There is no harm in trying.. finger crossed..

  7. I knew I could count on you! ;)

I'm just waiting for you to give the good news! Our timelines are identical, I'm thinking today or tomorrow you should receive some updates to your case! :)

I checked my e-mail first and also got the text message on my phone.

The other cases are still pending.. :(

From what I think, usually people get their I-130 and I-485 approved on the spot after the interview. So as of now, just waiting for my EAD to update.. I hope they update that soon. I also don't know the location until I see the Interview letter.

@Annara - If you are adjusting from K-1, you might get an interview waiver, or if you are like me adjusting from a non-immigrant or dual-intent status (H1B) regulations require you to be interviewed.

    congrats dear!!

  8. Some member here asking me earlier if I get the notifications via phone or email for schedule an interview? no I did not I just happen to check the case status on that day which something I do twice a week.

Now at this point I start to be panic because I read from some other website saying that their interview is in Hartford CT and they also get a schedule for an interview super fast like within 3 weeks after the send out the package but the status remain like that for 5 months now and the person still haven't get any exact date for an interview. I really hope that's not my Casey, I hope that the mail should arrive to me with in this week if not I might experiencing the same thing with the other person

Well if we look on brighter side! I think you don't have to worry about RFE anymore..probably they have gone through your file and thats why your case is ready for interview.. Good Luck :)

  9. Hi everyone just some update!

I just happens to check my case today (I check only 1-2 a week) and it turn out that they already scheduled me an interview! This is super fast since I just sent the forms on August 6 and did my bio last week. Now just waiting for the hard copy for the date of appointment hopefully I can get it on Saturday or Tuesday ( since mon is Labor Day)

I am kind of worried now because the interview is coming sooner than I thought and I haven't get any work permit yet.

How is everyone doing so far?

    congrats!! where you filed from?
