  1. Congratulations. Did you file EP by chance? I have added you to the spreadsheet.

Thank you, and no I didn't EP. My embassy is Juarez. I sent in both the AOS and civil documents on the 25th of February they received them the 26th. About 4 days later I got the email that my scan date was the 26th. And then just out of curiosity the other night I decided to check my CEAC page and saw the 3 N/As. I was in shock. So yesterday morning I called the NVC and a very nice lady confirmed case complete. Ya so only eleven days it took. I made sure before I sent everything in that I had everything. I was so worried that I would get a check list. I even put little yellow post it notes on documents that weren't translated saying what they were. Like my Husband birth-certificate and our marriage certificate. I just cant believe it went so fast. But for reals, I needed it. I almost went crazy waiting on the I-130 to be approved. It took 10 months. My I-130 case was received by the NVC on 2/8/2016 and completed 3/8/2016 so exactly 1 month.

  2. Ok everyone-I need to rant. We are at the end of our patience, our health, and everything else. It's been over 300 days since we filed. USCIS "processing times" has passed our filing date and STILL NOTHING.

Senator Schumer's office is harder to contact than USCIS and has done nothing at all-not even answering our emails or our calls. We gave up on them. Senator Gillibrand's office has been very prompt and knowledgeable but have not yet replied to our email of last night.

We really, really don't know what else to do. We are considering just moving to another country.....what else is possible for us? I am sick and not getting medical care here-things are really going downhill fast and I don't think I have the energy to fight any more. Already we are so far behind that I will need to fly back to the US to do income taxes and get more meds and supplements (illegal to ship those into Mex) and I guess return again if they ever process our application.

Maybe they are going to deny it and that's why this is taking so long. Anyone have any insight into why applications are denied?

Anyone have suggestions for another country we could live in that isn't too expensive since I'll need to maintain 2 homes and 2 families? Considering Nicaragua, Colombia, Peru and Ecuador. Other ideas? Asia is too far away from our families.

I feel your pain all the way. My I-130 has been at the TSC since March and still nothing. Its so hard seeing others get their approvals so soon. I am so sorry for you. Please hang in there. Sometimes I feel they just want to take us to the breaking point. But we can't give up.

  3. Thank you for your quick response. I am curious if the I-129f gets sent to same service center that has the I-130. Because if that's the case there would be no point. The TSC is backlogged right now on I-129f. If by luck it got sent to another service center that would great if it got approved sooner. but I highly doubt it. I am just so concerned that it would cause more delays in our case.

  4. I have a question just out of curiosity. My I-130 has been at the TSC for almost 10 months. I have done an inquiry and was told it is in extended review. A friend suggested that I file the I-129f to try for the K3 visa. However I have informed them that basically the K3 doesn't really exist because at NVC it usually gets changed to IR1. And after looking at processing times on the I-129f it is still is around 5 months depending on the service center. So I guess my real question here would be, if I was to go ahead and send the I-129f for the K3 visa would it cause even more time to our wait? I see that both forms are usually approved at the same time, so would that be giving USCIS another 5+ months to keep my I-130 on hold? My friend suggested that we go the route of K3 hoping that it would cause them to check more into our I-130. Well I am thinking it will just backfire on us and make us wait even longer. Because we all know when we are waiting on USCIS there is pretty much nothing we can do but wait. What do you all think?

  5. I have a quick question regarding the Co-sponsor. He has filled out and signed i-864, his wife has filled out and signed i-864a. They are getting all the income proof together so all can be sent to me. Do I need to ask them for a copy of their marriage certificate as well? I just saw on the visa steps page something about sponsor(i-864) and household member(i-864a) need to summit proof of relationship. I am asking because they were married many years ago in Mexico and I am not sure how hard it will be trying to locate their marriage certificate. Has anyone hear been asked to send in marriage certificate of co- sponsor?

  6. I don't believe you can, but you should ask on immigrate2us.net.

Ok thank you. When your Husband was denied I assume it was at Ciudad Juarez. How did they tell him about filing the waivers? Like what instructions? I am pretty sure my Husband will not have to file the i-601 because he has been out of the US for 10 years, but he will have to file the i-212 because he was found inadmissible under 212(a)(9)©(i)(II) for EWI after removal. Thanks

  7. He shouldn't need the i-601 because he has spent 10 years out of the US. Ok Thank you. I was hoping he could file it before that way we would not have to wait additional time. After all we have waited 10 years, plus however long the i-130 process will take. I imagine 1 more year and THEN file the i-212. Wow I just want to have him back in the States with his family.

  8. I was wondering if my Husband can file the i-212 before he has his interview at the embassy, that way he already has his approval when he attends? Or will he have to wait until after his interview? He was found ineligible at an interview in 2006. We are aware that he will need to file the waiver. Just wanted to get a head start. Thanks for any info.
