Hi all,
I am thinking about a divorce with my wife. She is a Canadian and I am from states. I have been here for 3 years. Now there are some problems in our family. And we together made the decision of divorce. But I am concerned about whether it affect my permanent residency. One of my friend told me that it can affect my immigration status legally. Is that true? I have already contacted with Immigration lawyer from Matthew Jeffery in Bay street. They told me that there is no need to worry about it. Any advice?
