  1. Thanks everyone for answering,

About my fisrt post, I posted it before i could finish writing.

About the answer, many people told me to answer No, including some Travel Agencys offering the service of Visa process. But after reading your explanations, I'm pretty sure I should answer Yes.

I was hopeful about renewing my Visa without interview, but one of the requirements its :

    1. The Applicant has never been arrested or convicted of a crime, deported from the United States, denied entry to the United States, or had any other problems or difficulties with U.S. Customs and Border Patrol when attempting to enter the United States

So thanks again to everyone, really appreciate it.

  2. Dates on visas are written like 11APR2015 though.,,,not as you wrote. They do that for a reason. I apologize if it used to be different. What was the orange paper.

Believe me, the dates on my visa doesn't show the name of the month, just numbers, i got my visa back in 2005.

About the orange paper, i couldn't read.

  3. Hi everyone, I'm having trouble answering this question in the DS-160 form.

" Have you ever been refused a US Visa, or been refused admission to the United States, or withdrawn your application for admission at the port of entry?"

    Here's my story:

A few weeks ago, I tried to cross to the US to spend my vacation. At the border, the CBP Officer asks for my Visa, I gave it to him and He says it's expired.
I was very surprised because I thought mi Visa would expire in 04/11/2015 (November in my date format), so he says it expired in April, and that's when I realized about the date format.

So he fills an orange paper and gives it to another CBP Officer. Then im waiting in something like a corral with other people. The Officer checks my Visa in his computer and calls me,

she obviously says that my Visa is expired and I can't cross to the US. I admit my mistake, they believe I'm not lying, they even gave me permission to see my relatives that were waiting for me on the other side.

So they gave me back my Visa, didn't sign anything, didn't took my fingerprints or something, just told me to follow an Officer back to Mexico.

In your opinion, what should I answer?

    Thanks in advance.
