Thanks for the response. I have talked with three representitives and one supervisor, and all mentioned the same thing.... "every case is different and only to wait." They mentioned there was a major delay at the USCIS and a backlog of work and they are currently processing applications from March 13th. However I don't understand how tons of applications that I have seen here on VJ, that are sent in my same time frame as mine, after March 13, are being approved and mine is not.

I just called the USCIS and tried a service request, however they said because there has been a delay at the USCIS, they are currently processing applications from March 13th, my case is technically still within normal processing times (even if i applied over 90 days ago).

Therefore I cant have a service request.

They mentioned that they are currently processing cases from March 13th, not May 7th which visa journey has noted.

Unfortunately I spoke with the USCIS today and they mentioned that there was a major delay at the Chicago National Office. Advance Parole applications are being processed with the date of March 13th, 2016, which makes my application still in normal processing time frame (even if I filed more that 90 days ago).

I would like to know if anyone else has heard the same.

I see applications from other immigrant timelines that have been approved, with a filing date just before and after me. Why is this and what can you suggest?

I called the uscis yesterday as my I-131 and I-765 are outside the normal processing times, and the uscis representative said that there is a delay in processing applications. He also mentioned that they are curently processing applications with the date of march 13th.

I would like to know if anyone has heard similar or experienced the same delay with these applications.

Obviously i will be traveling one way flight to my fiancee in america with the k-1. However, a one way ticket is twice as expensive as a round trip. Would it be an issue if i bought a round trip ticket? Or would this be controlled by the officers at the airport upon arrival?

My fiancee' is completing the G-325A. My fiancee' has never worked legally. For the section of employment, what should she write? Unemployed? Will this effect the status of our K1 visa?

Hey all,

The G-325, section "Applicant's last address outside the United States of more than 1 year" ... How is this different than the other addresses in the prior section? What dates, Month - Year should be placed if it is still current residence?

For the I-129F "Letter of Intent", what is the "Address of Filing Location" and where can I find the correct address??

Also this is for the I-129F Letter of Intent, do I need to include the Embassy location and address??

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe what is needed from my fiancee' is:

- Passport photo with name on back of photo, placed in a plastic bag and labeled with her name.

- Letter of intent.

- G - 325A

- any supporting proof of relationship

Anything else needed by my foreign fiancee'?

Hello all,

My question regards the documents and birth certificates in the I-129 package.

Do the birth certificates and other related documents need to be original copies? If so, how are my original copies returned to me?

Also, when do financial records (minimum income requirements) need to be submitted? Also, how is a cosponsor used in this phase?
