  1. Can go the I90 route and it's free. My wife's GC had the wrong Resident Since which could have potentially screwed up our ROC. We sent the card back and it took 9 months and 2 551 stamps so we could travel internationally. And, as Pitaya points, it happens a lot in fact, they got the "Resident Since" date wrong on the 10 yr card after our ROC too!

    Hi thanks for your response.

What should i do first? to file the i-90 or the 551 stamps, sorry i really don't have any idea.

  2. From what I understand, your best course is to try no correct it when you file for the ROC. Of course, this will be in two years (minus 90 days), but I hear changing it now is very difficult.

Hopefully someone else has a better suggestion.

    Good luck!

    Hi Bill & Katya,

You mean i will wait until i file for my ROC to correct it? i just confused if i don't correct it now then i have plan to get my DL. so what i suppose to use

on my middle name? i follow my green card, doesn't make conflict with my EAD, SSN and my passport?

    Thanks!

  3. Hi everyone!

I got my 2 years Permanent Resident Card today but unfortunately my middle name is incorrect, they put my birth certificate middle name instead of my married middle name. I filled out my I-485 forms with my married name...i just confused now because when i got all my USCIS notice, biometrics, EAD combo card has my married middle name on it. For example my Birth certificate name : Rose Santos Gomez

Married name : Rose Gomez Smith .... which is i used of all my documents now, like SSN, EAD, Insurance,

    renew Passport

Green card : Rose Santos Smith

Honestly, so frustrating! i thought we done all of this paper work. Does anyone on the same situation? What should i do now? Please any suggestion?

    Thanks,

    Rose
