We received the I-797 approval a couple of weeks ago. I was wondering how the interview scheduling happens. Do they give you a range of dates and you can pick? Do they give you a date and that's the date you need to show up? We are trying to plan a visit trip for her to come back and see me for a month or two so this information would be very helpful to us. Our approval on the I-797 is valid until 11/15/15
Also - When does the affidavit of support need to be done? Is this prior to the interview? After marriage (for adjustment of status?)
