May I ask how they found out that your mother was out of country for three years, by asking questions to your sister on the interview? What did she put as Country of Domicile on form i 864? Thank you...

Thanks VeeNDee,
You made my life easier! Toyota Canada just confirmed that they will issue me a compliance letter for my car. Followed every procedure that you suggested, and work out great! I'm just worried if the compliance letter will states that my car does not conform to the US standard? I have a 2014 Camry Hybrid...according to the representative from Border Services hotline, he said he can almost guarantee that 2014 Camry cannot be imported to the US. Is that true?
Anyway, I want to thank you here.

Thanks for being so helpful, and good luck on your interview!Just FYI on my interview letter, they didn't ask for original financial evidence as it said that they had already received it (from when it was sent to NVC the first time) So just pay attention to what the interview letter says and ofcourse, take any and all original docs that you may have and you should be fine

Yes you are right! Better safe than sorry!I can speak from my experience with my F4 journey. I just took copies of financial evidence. Besides, in the interview letter (P4), it will state clearly if you need to bring an original document. Ofcourse if you have an original don't hesitate to take it along. Better be safe than sorry. Hope it helps!

thanks!good to know before I go, I will need to study on this.if you are intending on importing your vehicle either you need the letter that say your vehicle is US compliant. Yes you need it by land. It would be rather difficult to import your vehicle if you were flying or using public transportation.

Do you know how to get a vehicle compliance letter in Canada? Is it required if entering US by land? You can bring just about everything... They don't like fresh fruits and veggies but the CBP were fine about our apples in the uHaul. If you're driving your own car you need a compliance letter and/or sticker on the vehicle to show it meets US compliance. There are plenty of topics about it in the Canada forum. If you have a loan on the vehicle you likely will have some issues. Make a general list of things you are bringing. ie: box 1 = books, box 2 = kitchen etc...
They didn't even look in our uhual or ask for our manifest, but it's good to have it.

Hello everyone
I know that for F2A group interview I will need the originals for my birth certificate, marriage certificate, police clearance certificate, and I 864 from the petitioner. Do I need the original employment letter and W-2 from my petitioner? Or copies will be fine? Anyone knows? Thank you!!

Hello everyone,
I have a question regarding US port of entry - can I enter US by land for the first time of entry? I'm currently living in Canada, thought it would be easier to immigrate by driving.....Any ideas? Thanks in advance!!!

I am definitely agree with that, under no circumstances is lying tolerated, and there are consequences of doing so. The forms and the other supporting document will show everything unless you lie on them as well. However in order to overcome any weaknesses on the case itself, we'd better be prepared with some strategic answers, but not necessary have to lie. I'm just curies how the sister/mom dealt with weakness in their case. I'm glad the sister was being honest on that. Hope you straight it out soon!!
