She would not be able to adjust in time, have you thought of filing in Ireland before you are due to come back?

Considered that, however she wouldn't be able to come back to the US, due to the overstay.

Also concerned that her leaving the US would create more complications in the green card process if she was located outside the US.

Looking for a way to have her be able to come back and forth from Ireland to the US.

It's a significant overstay. Believe a year or two over already.

Looking for some help navigating the green card process given my unique situation...

I will be getting married shortly to my fiancee who is in the US on an expired student Visa.

I am a US citizen. I will likely be relocated to Ireland for a work assignment for a period of two years starting in December 2015 or January of next year.

Of course I would like to take my new wife with me, but I'm concerned about what that will mean to her green card process.

I will maintain a residence in the US, and expect for us both to make regular trips back to the US over the two years.

Any suggestions you could share on what to do?
